Had the seafood platter with sweet potato fries and onion rings. The catfish, oysters, shrimp were all fried to perfection. So light and delicately fried onion rings were absolutely delicious. The appetizer of fried crawfish tails were so delicious I could have made a meal out of them alone.

Great seafood platter! Nate’s cooks their fried oysters kind of crispy, which seems to enhance the taste of them. Delicious! HUGE Gulf shrimp, the biggest I’ve ever had on a platter. The fried crawfish as an appetizer were good. Salad bar for house salad is fresh, clean and had the best sweet onions. Onion rings are totally delicious; crisp and perfectly fried!

Rarely do I give 5 stars to a place, but Nate’s offers great food from huge burgers to gulf shrimp, oysters and fish. The photo includes grouper, corn nuggets and potato. The photo was freshly baked, the grouper was fresh and really good. Everything is lightly fried battered. This is a great place for large groups as well as a couple. Laid back atmosphere.

Absolutely love this local favorite. Granny (server) made my first trip the best and I can’t wait to go back just to see her! She was a hoot. The food was perfect and so delicious. I had the fried grouper nuggets & sweet potato. I didn’t care for the slaw but that’s just my preference. I’m looking forward to my next trip. The inside is a mix of dining room tables and its just neat. You have to try them.

I ordered the Grouper plate while attending a car club meeting. I was really pleased with the portion size and the price. The food and service was excellent. I was attending an evening meeting and noticed other orders as well. They all looked appetizing especially the catfish. Highly recommend and will return with family and friends!

Outstanding, unpretentious casual seafood restaurant. A great little taste of small town Americana! The huge fried shrimp and perfect fried onion rings are both must-trys. The burgers are huge too, and handmade. Homestyle food and service the way it used to be done!
