This was our first visit to the South Haven area. The valet at our Memphis hotel suggested the area for food varieties. We picked Naru.
Our waitress was super attentive. The food was delicious.
Friends ordered sushi…Yum Yum and Picasso rolls, they enjoyed and said it was some of the best, freshest sushi they have eaten.
I had the Filet Mignon Hibachi….superb! It did take a while to come out. Sushi eaters had finished and other hibachi orders came out much sooner. It was worth the wait. Very tender, very flavorful. Served with 2 shrimp, salad, clear soup, and fried rice.
Other friends had chicken hibachi and crispy shrimp. They enjoyed their meals as well.

Shika was our server and was amazing . Fabulous server and drink recommendations. Brought everything before we had a chance to even ask for what we needed. As someone who use to serve, very impressed with shika. She is the go to. Went above and beyond . Even accidentally left my baby’s bottle behind and she chased us down ( in ice/snow) to bring it to us! Ask for her! If you don’t know what you want, ask her opinion! She isn’t just trying to sell something, but gives honest recommendations. The food is also the BEST sashimi I’ve had. Even my boyfriend who claimed he wasn’t in the mood for sashimi and said he would just get rice beforehand, LOVED his sushi. Seriously the most freshest tasting sushi/sashimi we have had. And this is not a sponsorship, it was just that good

I love this place, didn’t even know it existed because it’s ticked away in the corner of the mall complex. If you haven’t been here yet, i highly recommend that you come here. The service is really nice and friendly, and the food is the best part because it’s always fresh and tasty. I like the steak fried rice, they marinate and cook the steak in a unique sauce that just pops with flavor. If you’re really nice to them, they’ll bring out a pineapple slice in the shape of an old row boat, for free. Just make sure to tip your servers here, as they work hard to get you taken care of.

Food was great and yummy! We had the steak fried rice it was huge!! It was big enough for 2 or 3 even. We also had the NARU roll and it was good! Their clear soup was literally the best!!

They gave me the wrong roll, we never got napkins, my kid never got a fork so she struggled with the chopsticks, the zucchini in my other kid’s Yaki soba were bad with an awful smell and taste. By the time they finished discussing it at the sushi bar I was ready to just pay the full bill. She finally came back and offered 50% off and a remake which lets me know I was correct. I received the new check but opted out of the remake. Took her an additional 5 minutes to come get get the cash so I decided not to wait for the receipt, left the leftovers behind and went home. I hate I didn’t find out until I was plating her leftovers which is when I smelled coming up from the plate then did a taste test which confirmed it. Not to mentioned they tried to force us to a two seat table and there was three of us and many tables open.

This is our 3rd time eating here and it still doesn’t disappoint! Friendly, clean atmosphere and the food & drinks are always excellent. Shika was our waitress tonight and she exceeded our expectations! We will continue making the drive from Senatobia! It’s worth it!
