Found this gem as a happy accident while spending time in Everett for the first time. After repeated visits, this place has become my highly sought-after café. The industrial architecture, ample natural lighting, and layout of the open kitchen/bar contributes to a unique atmosphere. There’s comfortable seating options I found as ideal space for productivity. The customer service is impeccable, as the staff answers questions or concerns without overwhelming the guests. The attention to detail with the beverages are top-notch. I typically prefer straight espresso or Americano, but Narrative Coffee curated a craving for cortado & flat white. The rotating coffee selection symbolizes the commitment to introducing new flavors to Everett. Overall, Narrative Coffee offers refined products that sparks my curiosity for a new, elevated coffee experience.

Excellent experience at Narrative Coffee. This place absolutely lives up to the hype. The breakfast was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor—perfectly cooked eggs, crisp bacon, great bread, and quality sides that clearly aren’t an afterthought.
The coffee was equally strong—smooth, well-balanced, and exactly what you want to start the day. Everything felt intentional, from the menu execution to the presentation.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting without being pretentious, and service was friendly and efficient even during a busy morning. A great spot for breakfast or brunch, and one I’ll gladly return to. Staff was amazing 10/10!!

Amazing place from the food down to the customer service. I will definitely be comming back; we enjoyed the French toast with walnuts and a breakfast burrito like no other burrito I’ve ever tryed with a fresh green sauce and a Chipotle sauce to die for and the seasonal salted burbon butterscotch drink was so amazing I was tempted to get another one on the way out. The atmosphere is great for a coffee date or breakfast or even just some computer work. The manager is a nice gentleman with very genuine, friendly and helpful staff.10 out of 10 will be returning soon.
In a later most recent visit we were pleasantly surprised by the managers kindness and generosity glad we stopped by again. More memories comming here soon.

I got the mini breakfast (sourdough, eggs, avocado) I added bacon, but because it was burnt they replaced it with ham and refunded me, which I appreciated. Whenever I try a new coffee shop I order an iced caramel macchiato(that’s how I judge their coffee), they don’t have caramel but the barista suggested the salted butterscotch bourbon and it was very good! Parking might be a little difficult since it is downtown Everett but we got there right at opening and were able to park right out front.

Tried the white chocolate mocha at Narrative Coffee, and it was decent overall. The flavor was fine, though a bit lighter than I expected, and the sweetness was just okay. The shop has a nice vibe, but the drink itself didn’t really stand out. Not bad, but not something I’d go out of my way for.

It was good, high quality ingredients, which I appreciate, but it was not $10 for a hot chocolate good. It was alsocsuper poorly ventilated, so as someone with a dairy allergy, it made me sick. All my clothes and bags also stink.

Narrative Coffee in Everett is such a cool spot! The vibe is warm and welcoming, and I love the brick interior, it gives the café so much character. You can tell the baristas really know what they’re doing; they craft drinks with care, and the latte art is always on point.
One of the best parts is that it’s just a couple of blocks away from Funko headquarters. If you’re planning a visit to Funko, definitely make time to stop by Narrative Coffee and treat yourself to some specialty coffee, you won’t regret it!

Narrative Coffee offers great coffee and food! It also has a nice interior. The cafe has an extremely poor ventilation with a heavy burnt smell even when the backdoor was open. A better air quality will make my future visits more enjoyable.

I’ve only been here twice in the three years I’ve lived in the area. Mostly because I tend to avoid crowds and this place is busy most days, and rightfully so. The staff is always lovely and patient when my husband and I need to take a bit to navigate the menu. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. The coffee is lovely and consistent from what I’ve experienced. If you’re looking for a truly artisan experience in the Everett area, then this is your spot. Also, all the swag is always so cute, I’m always tempted to get a shirt or hat here. Anyways, this place is a fun and reliably good spot where not only does the food and coffee look beautiful, but tastes wonderful as well.

This is Everett’s high end coffee shop. I always get a great cup of coffee there and the food menu is also elevated. They make a great basic breakfast and house made biscuits. Avocado toast is awesome there. Cookies are great. I love that they use local favorite Velton’s coffee as well as other special roasts selected at cupping events. Atmosphere is super cool too with nice seating and cool music played at a comfortable volume. The staff is on top of things getting orders out quickly and they’ve always been very friendly. I’ve been visiting Narrative since they opened years ago and I’ve always had a good experience
