Joanne made us the best bowl of ice cream I have ever had. An enormous amount at a reasonable price. Over 100 flavors to choose from. It was very busy for a cold day and other Patrons bragged about how everyone in the area loves the place. So do we. If I lived there I would stop every day. Enjoyed talking with Joanne (owner). She loves what she is doing and is quite a character. You won’t be sorry, trust me.

I have so many childhood memories coming here, and I try to visit when I travel to St. Aug. It is outstanding homemade ice cream. There are so many flavors to choose from. I am mildly lactose intolerant, and somehow their normal ice cream does not mess up my stomach! For anyone who is a chocolate PB lover like me, then I recommend the chocolate peanut butter flavor. They have a lot of peanut butter based options, but the chocolate peanut butter is chocolate ice cream with big chunks of peanut butter in it- AMAZING. The staff is always attentive and so kind. This place feels like home!

Absolute must try! The largest flavor selection I’ve ever seen any where in the country. And a very large sorbet selection as well as non sugar and non dairy options. The portions are very generous! The atmosphere is like a southern grandma’s kitchen with inside seating and outside seating.

Everyone can find a favorite flavor here. The staff is always friendly and they make you feel as though your purchase matters to them. In fact, we will drive the hour to patronize Cold Cow even though we have an ice cream shop less than 5 minutes from our home. Definitely check them out!! You won’t be disappointed !!!
