I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nare Sushi. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by an inviting and elegant ambiance that set the stage for a memorable dining experience.

Sashimi and sushi are good. I also love the Kyoto white yuzu beer.

This place has a very posh vibe that doesn’t quite match its location inside the side entrance of a hotel. The staff were pretty attentive and the sushi was good, but I have honestly tasted better for a more affordable price (my bill was $90 for just a party of 1- see photo of receipt). I would not be in a hurry to return.

Really like this place, missing one start as they take off the lunch special and the space is too tight sometimes

Do not recommend. The omakase sushi and other nigiri pieces was terrible, not fresh at all, and definitely not worth the price tag of a $200+ meal. The rice was hard and tasted undercooked. The fish, especially the toro pieces, were not fresh. Toro is supposed to be soft, but what they served was hard and chew. This is not authentic Japanese sushi. You get better tasting sushi for a much lower price anywhere else in NYC. Extremely disappointed. Service was mediocre.

Sashimi dinner was amazing, would highly recommend this hidden gem for the quality of fish they serve. Menu might seem pricey but it’s worth. Restaurant is inside a complex with other stores. A little hard to find but inside is very quiet & peaceful. Staff is professional.

I had amazing time at Nare Sushi in NYC. All foods were deliciously prepared and waitress was very attentive. I especially loved their sashimi and sushi. Sushi was too notch and is the best sushi you can have in NYC. It was very authentic taste that you may taste in Japan. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

We are regular to this restaurant. We decided to have early dinner so waited there until their opening time which is 4:00pm. When we asked to come in they told us that they will open at 4:15. That was understandable. ( but the sign still says they open at 4:00pm). The food were served extremely late. It took 45min for over cooked yakidori don ( see the picture. I thought there was seaweed stuck on the piece of chicken but it was all burn like ash) 70min for the Donkatsu ( it was even undercooked. See the picture). Meal for 7 people were served with a long time lag bet each other with no explanation from the server. We were literally the first group who got the table and we ordered 4 udon, 8 pieces of sushi, 1 donkatsu and 1 yakitori don. Simple! We waited forever without any excuse from the server. No manager, no reception person were there. It looks like only 1 server was in charge for the entire dining hall. The worst part was they already included 20% tip on the bill because we were large group of 7 people. If they are not capable to operate the restaurant, they shouldn’t accept the people to dine in. It felt like scam to pay for the food & their service. Never going back.

Amazing tantalizing kitchen and sashimi fare, with great service and attention to detail and cleanliness- all on amazing cutlery, made us feel welcome.

Great Experience. I went by myself without previous Reservation. Location is a bit hidden in a strange Hotel Entrance.
