I was really looking forward to trying Churrasko in Union, but unfortunately the food was a big letdown. Just like the others, stay away from the fries.
Everything we ordered felt undercooked, especially the meats. The chicken didn’t have that classic BBQ or grilled flavor — it tasted more like it was boiled and then quickly thrown on a tray. The ribs and pork were chewy and lacked any real seasoning or char.
The rice had zero authenticity. For a place claiming Portuguese-style cooking, the rice was bland and flavorless — absolutely no depth or seasoning you’d expect from a proper Portuguese meal.
Even the fries, which should be an easy win, were limp. Overall, this meal was a major disappointment and definitely not worth the price. Won’t be returning anytime soon

The flavor is fantastic, they never disappoint me, I’ve been three times and I’ll be back, the fish and the entraña are highly recommended, the service is very friendly and warm.

Eh, nothing special here folks. No veggies in the rice, bland. Received 3 pork ribLETS, mostly bones & fat. $14 skimpy half order is what you get. I’d rather drive across town to Burnet BBQ for a $15 heaping half order with more flavor.

I visited Churrasko and had an amazing experience! I ordered the beef and chicken combo with rice and fries, and it was absolutely delicious. The beef was tender and flavorful, the chicken perfectly seasoned, the rice fluffy, and the fries nice and crispy. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere very pleasant. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back!

Absolutely love this place! You can feel right away that it’s family-owned — the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff treats you like you’ve been coming here for years. The food is outstanding: everything tastes fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. Portions are generous without being over the top, and you can tell a lot of love goes into every dish.

The food is great if you love traditional Portuguese barbecue this is the place. Service was very good. Very friendly, prices were reasonable. The place is small, quaint and clean, definitely make this a reoccurring place for lunch.

Decided to give it a shot since it’s so close to home. I ordered a bbq chicken with rice and fries that could have been better.
Chicken had a weird flavor but at least was not dry. I had to eat it with ketchup to not have a taste in my mouth.
Fries were horrible, maybe from the oil used. Soggy consistency which was not good.
Rice: honestly the only good part of the meal.
Maybe the other items are better but I didn’t have a good experience with this meal overall.

Have ordered twice since opening. Garlic shrimp and bbq chicken very good. Fries are disappointing. Obviously frozen but both times undercooked. Love the rolls and accompanying sauce. Really want this place to be successful and for this to become our go to for Portuguese BBQ so hoping feedback regarding the fries will be acted upon. Thank you!

I really wanted to like this place and was hoping it would make it. Unfortunately, the food was lousy and stingy; I felt cheated. We ordered a ‘whole chicken’ but it only had one breast and wasn’t even enough for 2 people. The rice was white, flat, and tasteless, definitely not the usual,yellow Spanish rice. Fries were soggy, likely from frozen. The black beans were just beans. The garlic shrimp had far too much spice for garlic shrimp, were small and hard. The rolls were fresh and good. Will not return.
