This place scratches the teriyaki itch in every way. It’s a relatively small staff but service is extremely fast despite that fact. It’s so good I’ve had my wife pick it up on her 40 minute commute home. Highly recommend.

Got the chicken and gyoza and everything was delicious and fresh, the proportions are pretty good for the price. The only thing that wasn’t so great was that they’re closing at 5 these days, and the service runs a little gruff, be ready to order when you step to the counter! I’m really grateful to have this little gem in town, will be giving them all my money! Haha

Wasn’t expecting such good food, and so much. Meat was stacked so high, with plentiful sauce (extra little tub came with it, too), that there was sauce and a few meat chunks stuck to the inside of the lid (see picture) when I opened the to-go container. Heavy container when I took it out of the bag- I knew immediately there was value inside.
Ordered the Chicken-Beef Combo. $12.95. Actually wanted Chicken-Pork, but it wasn’t on the menu. Asked for it, but they wouldn’t make it. I was upset at first, but just until I received my order.
Chicken had a nice char from the fire, but still juicy and tender- not dry. Excellent. As good as Du’s in Portland on Sandy Blvd… Maybe better, actually, and they’re the best in Portland.
Teriyaki sauce was unique, seemed very homemade, had some character to it, besides sweet.
Salad on the side was decent, iceberg with some purple cabbage, with the dressing the real star.
Can’t go wrong here. Wish I lived in Newburg, instead of just passing through. I’d come here a lot.

I NEVER leave bad reviews but I tried reaching out to them first & just got off the phone with them & am speechless. I race there to get there before they close at 6:30 because I love their food so much but today when I picked up I completely got cheated from what I ordered & paid for to what I actually received once at home. I completely overpaid & was missing items & something was terribly wrong with the noodles this time (mind you I love them so much i even always order a extra side order) I could not eat them. I really thought she would correct the charges over the phone but instead she lied saying what i received is correct. But it’s not according to the description photos, menu description and simply what I’ve always gotten even 2 weeks ago. She said she would tell the kitten about the noodles but not willing to give any kind of refund. It took so much for me to call because I felt guilty complaining but now I’m really disappointed. I’m going to call again tomorrow to see if they will make it right so I can delete this review but as of right now I’m really sad that they handled it this way.

On the day of my graduation, my dad took me to eat there. The food was really good, I had the dish, lemon chicken, and it was delicious! The salad was fresh, and the rice was my favorite! I recommend dropping by to try out their food!! ♡

I love a good teryaki plate and it is very good. There service may change every now and again because they are hiring new people but still its very kind. The atmoshpere isnt the worst but it is what they have to work with and they made it very cozy.

This is a family run tiny place that feels like you stepped 30 years back in time. The meals are great, and very popular for takeout. As for eating in, pretty much serve yourself and bus your table when done. Despite this, you feel special, almost like family, when your meal is brought out. Very good!
