First thing, arrived at 5, we were sat in the bar area, noticed all silverware is sitting on the table. We ordered, fried ravioli as an appetizer, my wife lasagna, and manicotti. The meals came with a salad. Our salad was a bag of mix of greens and carrots. There was no other ingredients. My wife had anti pasta salad, best thing they offered. The ravioli was fried, filled with a tasteless ricotta cheese. I watched the waitress drop a cup and put back on the counter as it’s clean, same waitress later scratched herself then put fingers in a thing of cherries, pulling one out flipping into a drink to serve. I watched as she never washed her hands even after she put her hands in the cherries. The lasagna has to be the worst, no cheese noted, it had Alfredo in place of cheese it seemed, all I know is the taste fell short, I didn’t like the taste at all. The manicotti was just ok, not even good but I could eat it. While waiting 15 minutes for our check , asking two times prior for it, came out the double door looking like a chipmunk as she had a mouthful of food. The table next to us, as we were waiting, the lady got her appetizer, the man a bowl of soup, he immediately said I ordered the meatballs, yep the waitress was gone never heard a word. I am so perplexed on how this place had so many good reviews. I will never eat there again.

Always a good experience. I loved the veal piccata with the added artichokes. The bread was fresh and steaming when it came out. I tried a red wine that I didn’t like, and they exchanged it for me no questions asked. I really appreciated that! It was all delicious with great service. I always look forward to my next visit here.

Now we know why there were people waiting for the doors to open for Saturday dinner. The food, service and atmosphere were top notch. We started our meal with the Antipasto Misto, a combination of warm and cold options such as cured meats, cheese, toasted ravioli and fried eggplant. The eggplant was the star because it was warm, soft and flavorful with the right balance of toasted bread crumbs for the perfect crunch. Then came the Antipasto Salad. Cool and fresh lettuce topped with cured meats and cheeses, and then topped with a light, refreshing and flavorful vinaigrette. That was a perfect salad course before the main course. My main course was the Veal Caruso. A little salty, but still delicious. Meaty, from eggplant and veal, set off by the milky and melted fresh mozzarella, and saltiness from the prosciutto. Divine. My son enjoyed the Spinach Ravioli with the Vodka Sauce. He felt that there was too much spinach, but not enough ricotta in the ravioli filling. He did mention that the Vodka Sauce was the best he has ever had. My wife loved the Lasagna, but noticed that when she cut into it some of the layers slid apart, but enjoyed it. The side of spaghetti was simple, and topped with a flavorful tomato sauce. For dessert I enjoyed the Spumoni ice cream. It was light, refreshing and a perfect way to finish the meal. My son loved his NY style cheesecake topped with chocolate sauce. Unfortunately, my wife’s Cannoli dessert was not good. The cannoli cream was loose, and had such a strong orange flavor that I could not taste the sweetened ricotta. Then the raspberry drizzle over the cannoli had an overpowering flavor as well. My suggestion is to stick to the basics when it comes to cannoli because simple is best. Overall, a great experience and we look forward to going back soon.

My family has been coming here since they opened in the 80s and our experience on Friday was so poor, I don’t know that we will ever return. We came to celebrate the life of my grandmother on the anniversary of her passing at her favorite Italian restaurant, and she is definitely rolling over in her grave. The experience was poor from the moment we walked in. The host couldn’t find our reservation that we made a month in advance, even though it was right in front of her. Waited 20 minutes for our table. Then, they split our party between two tables— which was unacceptable. The best part is that we were sat in a nearly empty room, but right behind the only other party and quite literally stuck in our seats (pictured), so we couldn’t even walk over to converse with the other half of our party. Only one of our tables was partially set and we were all missing knives when food arrived! My dad had to walk around to find someone that would bring us utensils. The waitress didn’t write anything down and messed up food and billing, including putting shellfish (I’m allergic) on our pasta and cross contaminating the new dish. We heard staff having melt downs and yelling at each other. Drinks sat empty, beverages took 15+ minutes to arrive. Our main dishes were delivered separately over the course of 20 minutes. Our dinner took well over 2 hours despite the fact that we all just wanted to leave. The restaurant was filthy and they didn’t have enough clean utensils. The staff literally ran away and ignored guests. After all of this AND splitting up our party, they charged us 20% gratuity though our two parties were only 5 people each. The restaurant was out of at least six wines on their very limited menu. Served my moms martinis in margarita glasses. No manager in site and no apologies.

I gave it three stars because a year ago I would have given it five stars and now I would give it one star, so that’s an average!

We finally made it to Napoli Villa and truly enjoyed our evening. Would suggest calling for reservations as emailing and leaving message did not get a response. Would guess I am forgetting how it was before open table and website reservations. Table was ready as soon as we arrived.

Tried this family-owned restaurant for dinner this evening simply because we had a coupon, and we were quite pleased! We each chose the house-made Italian Vinaigrette dressing for our (included with dinner) salads, and itwas delicious. I loved the Chicken Picatta entree, and my husband was equally pleased with his Chicken Caruso. Crusty bread and a choice of side item are also included with the meal: I got the spaghetti (which was, well, spaghetti, so nothing special to note there), but he got the vegetables, which were tender-crisp and lightly seasoned and quite good. Each meal that included all these cost just $17.99, which is quite reasonable for an excellent full dinner. Our waiter, Joel, was very good about providing drink refills and bringing any requested items. Recommended! We plan to return. Take note that we arrived at 5 p.m. on a Friday and walked right in, but by an hour later the place was packed, so good timing or advance reservations might be important.

Spaghetti sauce could have been thicker. It was watery and didn’t stick to the noodles. I would not recommend the meatballs. Others said the Alfredo was really good. The salad was good too. Our server wasn’t really bad, but she definitely had other things on her mind and it wasn’t our table.
