Came here for the first time for lunch. Food was absolutely excellent! We started off with the Cacio e Pepe and added salmon. Was the best Cacio e Pepe we’ve ever had!! We also shared a pizza, which was very good as well. Crust was very good and cooked perfectly. Drinks were very good as well. Our server Nicole was wonderful, and was very attentive. We got a cappuccino for dessert which was also very very good. Would definitely come back!!

We (2 people) had a light lunch of chicken Caesar salad and 2 meatballs and the total (with tip) came to $75.00. We didn’t even have any drinks – we drank water. I can’t imagine what a full meal with appetizers and drinks would come to. And the food was mid at best. I could barely taste the Caesar dressing so I asked for more. I’m sorry, I got excited when I saw this place and WANTED to love it, but it fell short in other areas as well. When you first walk in you notice the wood below the bar looks all dirty and there was a thick layer of dust on the rails of all the seats, and the window sill under the window we were sitting next to was busted and in need of repair. I don’t come on here trying to leave bad reviews in fact I barely ever leave reviews on google. We were just surprised and frankly let down with the experience especially considering we paid $75.00 for $25.00 worth of food. Leave this place to the out-of-state tourists who I’m sure is their target audience.

Great lunch, Ceasar salad perfectly dressed. Pizza of caramelized onion, mushrooms was so tasty with a tender light and puffy crust. Best Pizza I’ve had in years. Cappuccino, again perfectly done, not bitter. Only suggestion, serve cream, not milk for coffee. Sitting by the window, watching it snow, really enjoyed our day in portsmouth.

Wanted to like this place. Service was slow. It was Christmas eve so I was fine with waiting longer. However my meal was cold and lackluster. Ordered the rosemary shrimp which was $29. A bit overpriced for 8 shrimp, soggy asparagus and overcooked potatoes. Told the waitress that my food was cold, they grilled the shrimp some more and everything ended up burnt to a crisp. Fortunately, they took my meal off the bill. My friends’ meals were all cold. Unfortunately I probably won’t be dining here again. Seems to be dumping ground for all the ingredients they don’t use at Toscano steakhouse next door.

The food was really great, had 2 pasta dishes that were awesome, and a Caesar salad that was great as well. The happy hour prices were a nice treat.
Nicole was great! The restaruant seemed busy and it looked as though she was the only waitress on and took care of everyone with ease.
we will be back!

My wife and I frequently go to Tuscan restaurants both MA and NH and were totally disappointed with our visit to Neapolitan Pizza this time! There were several mice running through the dining room. When I asked our waiter about the mice, he blamed the empty building next door. While we were finishing our bottle of wine a mouse ran over my wife’s shoe and she screamed. The staff literally laughed out load! This was totally unacceptable!
Unfortunate for me and fortunate for the staff, I had already paid my check (20%tip included which I seriously regretted). We’ve been faithful Tuscan restaurants diners for about 15 years, but we’ve been reconsidering our decisions after this!

My wife and I eat out a lot — probably more than we should — and honestly, most places blur together. Same look, same food, same “safe” hotel kitchen vibe. Napoletana Pizzeria & Bar is a refreshing exception.
It feels like the kind of neighborhood spot you’d find in Italy, or the way Boston’s North End used to be before it got over-gentrified. The food is bold and rustic, the space has real warmth — exposed brick, wood beams, no flash — just good energy and honest cooking.
We often go during Happy Hour (4–6pm). The menu stays the same, but the prices on drinks and appetizers drop. From the main menu, don’t miss the Griglie Miste — a mixed grill of sausage, steak tips, and chicken. Everything is cooked just right, and the char from the grill brings it all together. It’s big enough to share, but you might not want to.
The Mussels Fra Diavolo are another standout. Served as an appetizer, but easily a meal on their own. The broth is deep, rich, and spicy — and if heat isn’t your thing, they’ll tone it down while keeping the flavor. We get them almost every time.
If they have it, grab a glass of the Toscano wine. It’s imported by their parent company, Tuscan Kitchen, and it punches way above its price.
The pizzas? Excellent. Rectangular (except for gluten-free), crisp crust, fresh toppings — exactly what you want from a proper pizza.
The service is always sharp and friendly. Napoletana has become our go-to spot. It’s not trying to be trendy. It just is that good.

By far one of the best restaurants in town. We usually go to Masimos. But this place is up there with them. Amazing Customer service!!!! Be sure to try their spritz…. So good! It makes me feel like if I was at Portofino and they are open early for lunch. SAUCE approved!!!!!!

The friendly service and classy atmosphere are the only reasons why I didn’t give a lower rating. The prosciutto and arugula pizza was quite horrible. Flavorless bread with a mountain of arugula covering it. Then drizzled with way too much balsamic vinaigrette to hide the 3 small, cold piles of prosciutto. Would not recommend
We also tried the meatball panini and that was quite disappointing as well. Almost zero sauce and zero flavor. I think even just salt and pepper would’ve improved this panini 10X. I’ll take my money elsewhere next time
