Reviews
I had a wonderful meal at Napoleat Italian Restaurant. If you are looking for authentic tastes and generous portions, this is definitely the place to go.
The Highlights:
• The Food: The pizza was absolutely delicious! The crust and toppings were spot on. Just a heads-up: the portions are huge, so come hungry or be prepared to share!
• The Drinks: We tried a few drinks and they were perfectly made—very refreshing and a great accompaniment to the meal.
• The Vibe: A lovely atmosphere that makes for a great lunch or dinner spot.
The only reason I give 4* is because the chicken in the teriyaki chicken and crab fat rice, had a bit of an odd texture, however, I have found that Asian chicken can be like that, so it’s not necessarily the kitchens fault. The flavours were good. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food. We wouldn’t have return had we not.
To our surprise, they were very well organized already.
The service is prompt and friendly.
The food is prepared well and served in a timely manner.
All of our food was delicious. Except… the Cesar salad was nice but the dressing lacked flavor. Maybe they are still working on some things
A big plus for this establishment is location and parking. On the main road with many parking spaces reserved for patrons.
I predict that Napoleat will soon be the best fine dining experience in Panglao.
After more visits… more photos to post.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming—especially to my daughter. At the time, she was only about three or four months old, and they didn’t just tolerate having a baby there—they genuinely embraced her and made her feel like part of the family. As a parent, that kind of warmth really stands out and makes a big difference.
When we first sat down, they brought us an appetizer that was so good we finished it immediately. We then ordered additional food, and everything we tried was fresh, well prepared, and enjoyable.
What really sets this place apart is the authenticity of the ingredients. From the quality of the cheese to the texture of the crust, you can taste the difference. The wood-fired, oven-roasted cooking method completely changes the flavor and gives the food a depth that’s hard to find elsewhere.
I’ve seen some negative reviews on Google, but from what I understand, many of those were posted very early on when the restaurant had just opened and was still finding its footing—staffing, roles, and overall flow. From my experience, it’s clear they’ve worked through that and have come a long way.
Fast forward to today—my daughter is now 15 months old, and she absolutely devoured the pizza. That alone says a lot.
Overall, this place deserves recognition for both its food and its people. If you’re looking for great food made with authentic ingredients in a welcoming, family-friendly environment, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.
