Reviews
Despite this extremely negative experience, I will say the pizza is still decent and I’ve had positive experiences here in the past.
Unfortunately, this is my first negative review on Google, and I believe it is well warranted. We came to Naples Homeslice to grab a few slices of pizza on a Friday evening. Walked in, placed an order at the cashier for five slices, and we were told to wait a few minutes for them to warm the pizza in the oven. Stepped outside to enjoy the warm air, waited for ~5min, and figured I would walk back inside to check on the slices. I saw two slices of cheese pizza sitting on the counter (no, we were not notified despite being 10ft away) and asked the young girl working the cashier if those were mine. She seemed confused and I said I had placed an order for two slices of cheese, two slices of buffalo chicken, and one slice of pepperoni.
She nervously looked at the “cook” and asked if they had any slices. His immediate response to her was one of frustration – stating that they didn’t have slices and for her to look at what was available (unprofessional/inappropriate response for an adult male to project towards a teenage girl). I hopped into the conversation to clarify that I had just placed an order moments ago and had already paid. Unfortunately, the girl clearly felt bad and told me that she had mistakenly given the slices to the guys who ordered after us.
Totally fine…you would think. I responded by saying “no worries” and asked that I be refunded for the three missing slices. The cook decided it was a good idea to interject and angrily stated “given the man his money and get him out of here.” I clarified by saying I would still pay for the two pieces of cheese (at this point they were cold..probably shouldn’t have had to pay for them regardless). He continued to berate me in front of his staff and other customers – laughing while he mocked me for asking how long it would take for more slices.
Pretty hilarious experience for me. What a pathetic excuse for a man – I feel bad for this business and its other staff members for having to work with such an arrogant guy.
