Plenty of seating, we were greeted warmly when we entered. The chef was accommodating and quick. The sushi was fresh and delicious, with lots of types to choose from. You definitely get value for your money and the boba was good as well! Hidden gem!

Tucked away, small, and intimate — this sushi spot is a breath of fresh air in a world where most sushi restaurants feel like crowded train stations. It was quiet. Intentionally calm. Exactly what I wanted!
We were greeted with complimentary jasmine or black tea (my husband elected for jasmine in the photo) followed by hearty miso soup and fairly priced sushi. From the start, the experience felt thoughtful and unrushed. If you’re craving a peaceful evening and beautifully plated sushi, this is the place.
The sushi was stunning, must I continue mentioning? An absolute flavor bomb with each bite. My husband and I ordered the Special Combo, ($16.49 with 20 pieces) and the Deirel Combo ($16.49 for 15 pieces). Absolutely devoured.
It was a pretty chilly night, and the miso soup, ($4.99) was probably one of the best miso soup’s I’ve ever had around KC. My only complaint for the soup — I wished the portion size was slightly bigger so I could savor it more!
We got mango green tea to share, and it was served with a fresh slice of mango mixed within the rainbow jelly I requested. It was refreshing and balanced.
Unlike other sushi locations around, their entree menu is strictly sushi and nothing else. Sushi and boba is their craft and is executed perfectly.

I got the sushi burrito and a taro milk tea. I was happily surprised when I bit into my burrito and it was real crab!! I was expecting imitation but nope, it was the real deal. It also had lettuce on it which I hadn’t had on a sushi burrito before, but it gave it a nice crunch. The burrito was absolutely delicious!! I could tell it was made with fresh ingredients. The taro boba was delicious too. They use lactaid as their milk which is awesome because I’m lactose intolerant. The milk tea was perfect, and the boba pearls were sooo good.. Warm, cooked all the way through, and soaked in sweet honey. My friend got a sushi roll and a milk tea, I don’t remember exactly what they got but they said it was delicious! The interior was clean with a decent amount of seating. I enjoyed seeing the anime figurines as decor. The person taking our order was polite and brought our food out to us. I didn’t talk to the other person but it seemed like the two made a great team. The wait for the food was reasonable, I want to say it was like 10-15 min, and the boba was brought out to us in about 5 min. The prices were reasonable too, I honestly would’ve expected to pay more due to the high quality food. Overall, I was very happy with my visit and I look forward to coming back.

Tried DeiRel for our kiddos birthday– the boba is delicious. The food, well see for yourself– I had the poke bowl and the raw tuna, seasoning, toppings, and rice were a flavor explosion for my taste buds and the colors were a feast for the eyes. The husband had the sushi burrito and chicken roll, he left no crumbs. Birthday girl had the tempura shrimp roll and was very pleased. Non birthday kiddo loved her chicken dumplings! We will be returning

Can I be the first to rate this place 6 stars? Everything was phenomenal. From the very friendly staff, to the atmosphere & delicious sushi! I got a brown sugar boba as well that was so so good! Prices are very reasonable as well. Thank you to the staff for making this my new go-to place! 🙂

This has now become my new go to place. The milk tea tastes great. Try the honeydew for sure. They made me somehow like coconut flavor again. Sushi tastes amazing as well. No complaints at all. Really fun talking to the owner. Small atmosphere that promotes talking. I love it all. This place is the real deal!
