Under new management. We thought we would give it a try but sadly we will never be back. This used to be a great place to stop and have a good hot meal for a fair price with good service. Not anymore. We waited an hour and 25 minutes to get our meal. I got the special. The vegetables were ice cold and tasted like rubber. The rest was ok at best. Wife ordered hamburger steak with cheeseballs. Order came out with french fries instead. She is on a low carb diet. Hamburger steak was cooked rare not medium well as she ordered and it, had no seasoning on it at all. Very bland. Toast came out 10 minutes after rest of order. Then 10 minutes later they brought out the cheeseballs which we sent back. Meals should have totaled $33 plus tax but bill was $43.24. Had to of been overcharged. Never did get a ticket. I had to help waitress figure change. Paid and left. Won’t be back ever. There were other people there having the same experience as us. Sad this place has gone downhill so bad.

Small town cafe in one side, bar on the other. Pool table, games. Plenty of room. Excellent service and freshly prepared food. Enjoyed cheese curds, gizzards, mashed potatoes and chicken fried steak. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Cards, free books, and color crayons available to keep old and young alike busy until your meal arrives. Today service was very quick. Server was professional and kind.

The hash browns were perfect, with added onions just as I ordered. The omelette looked excellent, but the veggies were mushy as if they had been stewed.
The place gets such high marks mostly for being there – exactly what I needed when I needed it!

We had breakfast at the Naper Cafe one morning. My meal was very good, but unfortunately, my co-worker’s bacon was overcooked—crispy and burnt in spots. Despite that, the service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly.
The cafe also doubles as the town’s mini-market, which is a unique touch. It was a quiet morning with just us and a group of locals having coffee. I’d be willing to give it another try!

A pretty good meal was enjoyed by all.
The waitress was attentive and helpful. We will definitely stop there again when I’m in the area.

Wow wow wow. We are doing the Nebraska Passport thing and one of the locals from another small town recommended we take a stop to this place for breakfast. I got the Breakfast Sandwich (highly recommend) and it was probably some of the best food I’ve ever had. Definitely has a small town vibe but the breakfast food was quite a hidden treasure. Also, best bacon we’ve had in NE so far.

Stopped in on our way through, waited an hour for our breakfast after the order was placed, the place was not that busy. The hashbrowns were undercooked and the omelettes were very dry. There was 5 of us and from start of bringing our food out to the end of that process, took 20 minutes.

we’re always so pleased to find this fine establishment in this very sparsley populated area. Good food (Apple pie made that morning and a patty melt with unique ingredients) along with friendly service made for a wonderful getaway experience.

We had the best breakfast here, wish we lived closer as I’m sure lunch and dinner is also very good. Large servings and tasted very home made! Don’t miss this Cafe!

Great place to take the kids for a treat! They do not take cash so make sure you bring some or you can use the atm in the bar section but then you have to pay the fee to withdraw cash.
