Food was great! Elevated comfort food. The menu is clearly marked gluten free, and you can get gluten free calamari!! The Napa fried chicken is also gluten free. It’s a treat to find fried gluten free food in such a nice restaurant. The cocktails were also very good and our waitress was awesome. It’s cute inside and quiet enough for conversation. Parking is a little hard to find, just come a bit early to be sure you can find a spot.

My first visit was with a group of friends and we were blown away — the food was incredible, the wine selection was fantastic, and the service was truly top-notch. I loved it so much that I went back with my partner, and he agreed it was outstanding.

I was so impressed that I decided to book our company’s 2025 Christmas Party here, and it could not have been a better choice. Samantha was an absolute joy to work with — quick to respond, super organized, and made the entire planning process seamless.

The night of the event was perfect. The food was a 10/10, the service was even better, and my colleagues were thrilled. I received so many compliments on choosing this venue.

I’ll definitely be back, and I know my friends, coworkers, and family will be too. Huge thank you to Samantha, the hostess, servers, and the chefs for an unforgettable experience!

Great food with a fantastic wine selection. They have an area where the kitchen is open so it feels very “chef table” like; which added to the great atmosphere and vibe. I will definitely return.

This review may have gone a different direction if not for the excellent service provided by Adam who promptly made sure everything was to perfection and if not, it very quickly would be. I’ll be coming back here again as I really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. I’m a little disappointed they had no Spanish wines, but it is called Napa and wine by glass was good, not great. I’ll have to try more wines before I give a more accurate review on their quality of choices. The French onion soup was tasty and distinctive due to acidity probably provides by wine in the recipe. The burger and fries were excellent once doneness level was corrected.

Another great addition to Raleigh’s culinary setting! Our waiter Ram provided an outstanding service. Must start with the meatballs for appetizers. The crab cakes are very flavorful and it’s all crabs -no filling. However, a larger salad portion is warranted for the crab cakes. The herb encrusted grouper is a must; perfectly cooked and filling. They should have bread’s first serving free: pricey for the small portion size. Save room for dessert! A great ambiance in a very trendy community. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Parking on premises. Highly recommended

4 out of 5 overall. Food was great. I had the beef (shredded short ribs) Pappardell. Flavorful dish with carrots, pearl onions and potatoes. I also ordered and their take on an old fashion. I had better old fashions at other places. I thought they added a dash too much of bitters. I would come back because he food is good.
However it was a bit noisy at 50% capacity. No one was extremely loud but sound seems be amplified in the dining spaces. I was hard to hear my friend talk and we were right actoss form each other. The other point deduction came from the service. It wasn’t bad but it was good enough to give a 5 star rating. The server was nice but and provided standard service but not outstanding.

My friend took me out for a birthday dinner and I was excited to get a good Napa wine. The restaurant is beautiful and there is great ambiance. We the cauliflower appetizer is a great blend of different flavors and the mushroom ravioli was delicious. I chose this restaurant because of the strawberry rhubarb cheesecake on the menu and it was just as amazing as I’d hoped.

This was our first time and we enjoyed our meal. Th crab and lobster cakes and the salmon were delicious. We also shared the cauliflower and a salad. They have a good selection of wine. Our server was excellent- very attentive and he provided some good recommendations. Nice atmosphere where the tables are spread out and you don’t feel like you are crowded. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant and we will be back.

An Elegant Evening at Napa Wine Bar

Our recent visit to Napa Wine Bar was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance set the tone for an elegant and relaxed evening. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the food, from starters to dessert, was crafted with evident care and creativity.

Starters

We began our meal with a selection of appetizers that set the bar high for the evening.

Margherita Pizza: Served on a flatbread crust that was perfectly crisp and buttery, this simple dish impressed us with its fresh, melty cheese and delicate seasoning. A comforting and flavorful start.

Grilled Octopus: For someone trying octopus for the first time, this dish was a revelation. The texture was tender and meaty, with a savory profile reminiscent of chicken, but with its own distinct, delicious character.

Meatballs: Generously portioned with four large, well-seasoned meatballs bathed in a rich, flavorful sauce, this appetizer was hearty, comforting, and ideal for sharing.

Crispy Cauliflower & Hummus: While the cauliflower wasn’t as crispy as expected, the overall flavor combination still worked well. A solid choice, though it didn’t quite steal the show compared to the other starters.

Mains

The entrées were where Napa Wine Bar truly shined, with each dish bringing its own unique flair.

Three Cheese Chicken over Wild Rice: This dish exceeded expectations. The chicken was expertly cooked, and instead of a standard cheese filling, we were surprised by delicate, silky ribbons of cheese that seemed woven through the meat. It was flavorful, comforting, and beautifully executed.

Crab Cakes: Two generously sized crab cakes were served with a creamy, mayo-based sauce. Though I can’t recall the exact name of the sauce, it paired perfectly with the dish. The cakes were well-seasoned and satisfying.

Braised Short Ribs over Puréed Potatoes: The ribs were tender, well-sauced, and flavorful, though not quite the “fall-off-the-bone” style. The puréed potatoes were a surprising twist—silky smooth and subtly seasoned, they elevated the dish with their unique texture.

Pan-Roasted Salmon: The standout dish of the evening. The salmon was buttery and tender, practically melting in your mouth. Paired with a vibrant corn succotash, blistered tomatoes, and creamy goat cheese, this dish felt both sophisticated and heartfelt. Every element was harmonious—an absolute must-try.

Desserts

We concluded our meal with three decadent desserts:

Strawberry Rhubarb Cheesecake: Light and creamy with a flavor reminiscent of a classic no-bake cheesecake. Nostalgic and satisfying.

Chocolate Mousse Cake: Rich, indulgent, and everything you’d hope for in a chocolate dessert.

Key Lime Pie: The star of the dessert menu. Served with a key lime gel that, when combined with the pie, created a perfect bite, bright, tangy, and unforgettable.

Final Thoughts

Napa Wine Bar provided us with a wonderful evening filled with delicious food, excellent service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Every dish had a personal touch, and it’s clear the kitchen takes pride in what they do. We will most certainly be returning, and recommending it to anyone looking for a refined and satisfying dining experience.
