I was looking for a new chicken place to try and this one popped up with so many good reviews. So I got there and looked at the menu and was in no rush and I wasn’t rushed and the menu looks really good so I got the combo with two chickens sandwiches and fries. For under 15 bucks it was a really good deal. But I didn’t pay at the register that I was rang up under which I would suggest paying there I had to go to the one at the front. So if it’s busy in there it’s an inconvenience. That’s something to work on. It didn’t take very long to get which was good. It’s all to go no dine in. The sandwich was really good it was not dry at all but it wasn’t as hot as I thought it would be Even though I got the hot spice. Next time I’m going to have to get the next spice up. I got the hot and honey and I thought it would taste a little more like hot and honey but it tasted a little bit like barbecue which wasn’t a bad thing but it wasn’t what I was expecting. It would be nice to have cheese as well as an option. The fries were good with the sauce. I would definitely recommend it.

Really good, I like spicy food but I wasn’t sure how spicy it would be but it’s not overwhelming at all I wish instead of the hot I got extra hot but it was still good and I like the chicken and fries

The best chicken I’ve ever had besides chic fil a Louisiana style it’s a special barley sweet,and hot spicy sauce that varies from none to reaper with a hot dry rub on it too it’s called hot honey and another sauce that they made to dip it in I go there about 5 times a week probably one of there best customers and alot of other delicious food too loaded fries that I’ve tried for less than 12 dollars and the containers weight is like 2 pds the tenders are huge at only 4.76 apeice with tax the guy who cooks it really cool laid back dude located at 600 york pa West market Street by Roosevelt next to the turkey Hill it’s also a smoke shop convenience store. They have one space. In this space, they divide it into a vape+ store. One arm bandit corner. Sweet and salty snacks and cold beverage and maybe beer. A variety of cold energy drinks are available also.
The atmosphere can get relatively sleazy looking at times. But it is located on a busy corner, let’s say.
However, that said. Do not sleep on their well seasoned and flavorful Hot Chicken. Granted Dave’s Hot Chicken is a brand name. Just the name alone people imagine Dave’s taste good. It does! But Nanu’s Hot chicken makes Dave’s seem like bland and plain. Give me Nanu’s Hot Chicken anytime. Oh, they serve the chicken with well seasoned fries and a small waffle. Everything about their Chicken platter is definitely worth the money.
The service needs some brushing up. Just a little mellowing out. I think time will fix that.

Tried this spot the other day. The location is a bit unusual—inside a building that also houses a smoke shop, casino, and convenience store. The staff was very friendly, and my order came out quickly.
This is a Philly-based chain, and my feedback is more about the franchise than this specific location. The menu feels like a near copy of Dave’s Hot Chicken. I ordered the chicken tenders and the sando. The sando was excellent; the tenders were just okay (similar to how I feel about Dave’s). I got the second-hottest spice level, but it was barely spicy. The sauce also tasted identical to Dave’s—I even did a blind taste test side by side, and there was no difference.
On the plus side, the fries were much better than Dave’s, and the smoothies were good. My daughter ordered the tenders and waffles and really enjoyed the waffles.

This was my first time visiting and I ordered the #9 — chicken, fries, and a waffle. The fries tasted like they had been fried in the same grease used for chicken fingers — and not in a good way. The chicken itself was overcooked and too crispy, and I didn’t care for the seasoning that was sprinkled on top. Overall, the entire meal had that same “fried in old grease” taste.
My husband and I also ordered the strawberry smoothie, which was a total letdown. It was watery and loose — nothing like the thick, refreshing smoothie you’d expect.
What surprised me the most was the environment. I didn’t expect to pick up food from a store that also sells body oils, hookahs, packaging supplies, scales, baggies, and various THC products. I was hoping for a solid carry-out experience with good food, but unfortunately, I left very disappointed.
