Visited Nang Mai and really enjoyed the meal. I ordered the grilled pork vermicelli noodles and the spring rolls. The noodles were fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced — definitely a highlight. The spring rolls were tasty too, though I think they could be even better with a little less skin and more filling. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Overall, a great dining experience that I’d happily come back for!

Little lovely cafe, family-run business. I come here for a comforting bowl of pho on a cold day. Beef brisket is my favourite. Pho is consistently delicious and full of flavour.

This was my first time eating at this restaurant and trying their pho. The pho here is exceptionally delicious, and the staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. I noticed it’s extremely crowded; the pho is so good that everyone comes here in droves.

I really enjoyed the pho, specially the sliced beef. The quail and pork chop rice were good too. The only complaint was the spring rolls. It was really hard because there were too many layers of skin with hardly enough fillings.

Nang Mai in Coburg is an absolute gem in the neighbourhood! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by the loveliest staff and a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home.
Now, let’s talk about the food—it’s amazing! The Pho here is my go-to, and I’m especially hooked on their “build your own Pho” option. It’s a fun, interactive way to enjoy a bowl that’s tailored just for you. The broth? Pure magic. It’s so authentic, you’d swear you’ve been transported straight to Vietnam.
With plenty of options to choose from and a happy, local feel, Nang Mai is the kind of place that keeps me coming back. If you’re in the area and craving Vietnamese, this spot is a must-visit.
Four stars from me—so glad it’s just around the corner!

Thought we’d try this little restaurant based on the reviews and unfortunately it was disappointing. We ordered the Yummy Chicken Wings, Vietnamese Rice and Char Kway Teow. No rice noodles so we had to change the order to Mee Goreng. I guess running out of rice noodles could be understandable given it was dinner on a Sunday evening. There was one other customer there when we arrived and only one food pickup whilst we ate. Not quite sure how the rating for this restaurant is as high as it is and maybe we just chose the wrong dishes for our paletes. The serving sizes of all three dishes were good however the Vietnamese Rice was barely warm, the highlight of the dish was the pork chop. The Mee Goreng tasted like the base was bottled tomato sauce and very much on the sweet side and whilst the Yummy Chicken Wings had excellent crunch, the coating was tasteless. Such a shame as we would have loved to become regulars as this restaurant is within walking distance.

Ordered Pho(traditional rice noodles with beef brisket) The serving portion was adequate and lots of side dishes. The broth tasted so good.

As an Aussie who lived in Vietnam for 6 years I’m perpetually craving good Vietnamese staples and am so thrilled this restaurant is in my suburb. Been meaning to try and when we finally did, it was fantastic. I went in wanting a pho and it was genuinely great. Perfect balance of flavours, high quality and fresh ingredients. My partner had the vegetarian noodle soup and was equally impressed. They also do proper Vietnamese coffee (central Vietnam strength!) and fried ice cream which I couldn’t resist. Delicious! Looking forward to coming back and working out way through the comprehensive menu!

Popped in for a late lunch. Service and atmosphere were average, as was the food. The food was bland and tasteless. Would probably not come back.
