Went in and paid almost $60 for croquetas, guava pastries and empanadas. Food was old and stale. I took a bite into the guava pastry when I got home and there are about 4 spots of fuzzy white mold in the guava paste. On top of that, we waited 30 mins from the time we ordered to get our food. This was honestly disgusting and expensive. Don’t waste your time or money here.

More people need to discover Nando’s!!! Tourists: It’s worth driving further away from the beach area! Locals: Say bye-bye to the pretentious lunch eateries around downtown and discover something real! The food is delicious! The ingredients are quality, authentic, honest, and the love that shows up in the taste of the items is something you usually only find in “grandma’s kitchen.” Yes, it is a small little place in a shopping center. No, they do not serve fancy cocktails. It’s a place where local characters come after work to get a homemade bite to eat, some “scratchers,” and pick up a pack of Cuban-brand cookies to take home.

I was there earlier today with my daughter. Food was great. But only thing I didn’t give you the whole 5 stars it’s because I ordered chorizo con tostones y salsa de cebolla to go. First pic is what I got and second picture is what’s advertised. It’s missing the salsa with cebolla and the chorizo looks like it was mashed. A bit disappointed, but the food at the cafe was good.

Spent 19 dollars for 4 empanadas and 1 cafe. The coffee was good but empanadas were hot and cold in the middle. $4.50 for an empanada is a bit extreme for the quality given.

The owner of this business is a scammer because he requested my services to repair a beverage display case and after searching for a price slightly below what the repair should cost, he refused to do it because he thought it was expensive. He has the right to do so. However, he does not have the right to refuse to pay a $50 fee for the visit to his business, since I had to travel 40 minutes round trip from my house, wasting time and gas. He was very rude and kicked me out of his business. Apparently, he’s one of those people who thinks that only what they sell is what should be paid for. It’s totally disrespectful to request repair services, and if the price doesn’t like you, refuse to pay the fee for the visit that all companies in the US have established. This despicable owner of this business does not deserve to have people generating profits from their visits there.
