My girlfriend and I decided to try breakfast at Nancy’s Elkhorn Family Lodge, having had several excellent lunch experiences there. Upon arriving early, we were warmly greeted by the waitress, who remembered us from our previous visits. I opted for the chicken fried steak with hash browns, two eggs over easy, and wheat toast, while my girlfriend went for pancakes, a sausage patty, and scrambled eggs. To say the portions were generous would be an understatement! Our dishes were delectable, and we couldn’t finish it all despite our best efforts. We had engaging conversations with the waitress, making the overall experience even more pleasant. We are definitely looking forward to returning for another sumptuous breakfast in the future.

Great food and service!!! Go here instead of the airport one. I had the small chicken fried steak with the gravy on the side. It was great!!! Also had a double bloody Mary that was fantastic as well!!! After the wedding across the street, we went and had some drinks. Awesome time as well!!!

The food was great, large portions and this is a haven in the hot days of summer to go cool down! I went with a very large group (20 people) and they accommodated us really well, even though they were short staffed we got all our food and drinks quickly and the servers were very courteous and nice. I definitely recommend this place if you’re driving by or if you’re looking to cool down from the heat!
