Let me start by saying, I have been to other Nancy Jo’s locations before so this review has elements of comparisons to past visits, and other locations. The energy level of staff was reflected in the excitement and quality of my order. Staff enthusiasm was incredibly low and the meat was dangerously close to be call well done. Both were very dry. I ordered about a hundred dollars worth of food and drink. We tried various types of burgers and sides and the best part was the bacon in the bacon burger and the onion rings. We were the only customers eating on site although a few DoorDash or pickups came through while we were there so it wasn’t a lack of capacity. My daughter found a hair in her food, and while I cannot be 100% sure it wasn’t hers, it would not surprise me if it was a staff members based on my overall experience, and the lack of head covering by kitchen staff. Other locations have flavor bursting out of the food and charismatic staff. Sadly that was not the case on this visit. The majority of our burgers had hardly any sauce at all, despite asking for “the works” so we added sauce at the self serve counter pump sauce container. This is my local Nancy Jo’s and it is disappointing to write this review.

The last three times in a row we’ve ordered from here on Door Dash the orders were wrong. Missing ingredients and toppings. What is the point of being able to add toppings if they won’t actually add them? I’ve also ordered a burger salad all 3 times and each and every time they didn’t give me the dressing or sauce I requested. Am I just supposed to eat a dry salad? If you read the reviews on door dash many people have had a similar experience. Wont be ordering from here again.

Nancy jo’s burgers and frys makes one great burger. I tried it for the first time Tuesday and had in again on Friday it was so good. The frys are fantastic as well. The hog frys our out of this world. Pictures are from the south Salem and Keizer locations. The service was also very good and friendly.

I ordered a big cheeseburger with 3 extra patties and I asked them to add a fried egg. I’m diabetic and I wanted to eat the fries, so to reduce carbs I asked for my burger without a bun. I also asked for an unsweetened tea.

Unforyunately, nutrition information for Nancy Jo’s Burger and Fries doesn’t seem to be available online, nor on location. Since the food seems similar to Five Guys, Burgers and Fries I used their nutrition information to estimate my macros.

My burger was approximately 86.3 grams of protein, including the fried egg. High protein diets have been shown to help regulate blood sugar in multiple studies, so I try to eat high protein and as low carb as possible (usually). Doing so has allowed me to lose 50 lbs in 6 months, with a sedentary job that forces me to eat out, primarily.

The burgers themselves were delicious, but I wouldn’t recommend the fried egg. I’m not sure what it was (maybe the oil they used? The seasonings? I don’t know), but the texture seemed odd to me and it was off putting. Next time, I’ll just order another patty (which would put my protein at around 96 grams). The fries were pretty good, although some of mine were under cooked. The tea was better than a lot of places, however.

The lobby was clean and the staff was friendly. When I arrived the lobby was empty, but it filled up quickly for the lunch rush. I suppose I had lucky timing.

The bathroom was pretty gross. During my visit, no one went into the restroom, staff or customer. Naturally, I would assume that the restroom would have been cleaned when it was slow. I was wrong. Who ever used the restroom before me didn’t flush the toilet. The base of the toilet looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months or maybe years. The sink had visible dirt in it, the mirror needed cleaning, as well. I sat near the restroom while my food was cooked and I ate my food. There was a long period of time that the restaurant was empty and anyone could have cleaned the restroom but didn’t.

Would I recommend Nancy Jo’s Burger and fries? If you’re in the area, sure. Will I eat there again? Probably not. The food was OK, but I’m not in that area of town often and I don’t see myself traveling out of my way for food that’s just OK.

Great spot for a classic taste and good vibes. Never had an issue with my order, service has always been friendly, especially so when dining inside. Their chicken strips are the large and flavorful, and their burgers are filling. Try the fry sauce with everything!

Burger and fries were great, patty was well cooked, tomatoes were very fresh, fry sauce is tasty.

Wait time is typically 10 minutes for an order, start to finish, but that’s expected for freshly cooked orders. People complain about fries not being crispy, but I like them the way they are.

Only real downsides are country music being played inside, and very limited wheelchair accessibility.

This is the THIRD time that the commercial location has notched our order. When we say grilled onions and jalepenos AND NOTHING ELSE, DON’T ADD MAYO, LETTUCE AND TOMATO. My husband hates MAYO! To add insult to injury they let the phone ring forever then hung up! I even asked them if they got my order right this time before taking it home. I am sure that they would not appreciate me opening the burger in front of other customers, but I guess that is what I have to do! Nancy’s used to get out orders right, but everyone needs to be retrained.

Tabitha my server was super nice and helpful. Burger was great as always. Fries are the hard to find old school real deal type. Believe the hype.

I’ll start this off by saying; with only one cook and a single cashier with the amount of people in the building an hour before close, my food came out quick.
Now was it fully cooked and hot? Not in of the least. The fries were Luke warm at best, as you can see in the photo, the cheese was just slapped on the fries and they thought I wouldn’t notice. I understand why they are hiring now. Do better.
