After riding past this place a million times, we decided to stop and try. My husband heard it was so good! After waiting 30 mins and paying $35 for 2 meals and a piece of pie (actually a piece of a slice of pie) I give this a negative review. Chicken burnt, you really passed this out?!? Paid $5 for piece of pie and didn’t get a whole piece. I try to support our businesses, we’ve got to do better! I would not recommend!

I had a strong craving for some jerk chicken, of all days on a Monday that happened to be a holiday. I knew my options would be slim, and my go-tos would be closed, but this restaurant/truck pulled up on UE so I had to give it a try. I was a little nervous about the patty – hadn’t seen one that color or type before but it was not bad – just different. But, I also tried the Nana’s Special and the flavor of the rice in it was amazing! I hoped for a stronger jerk flavor on the shredded chicken but it didn’t stop me from enjoying. Expect ample servings (even the patty was huge), freshly cooked food, some unique flavors and a kind handwritten greeting on the top of your container.

Now this review is long overdue! Idk about the one star ⭐️ reviews but let’s start with the prices it’s very affordable, I have ordered from here twice ! And both times I have felt her energy through her food , she always writes positive messages, food is flavorful I have not met her my husband always go get the food but today I was working at my job close by and ordered the wings and I fell in love again ! KEEP UP THE WORK GOD HAS THE FINAL SAY ! The food is off the charts 10/10 across the board thank you so much ! I’ll be back

We absolutely love this food truck!! Jen is so polite, professional, and down to earth. My favorite is the Jerk Fries and my husband loves the Jerk Plate with the greens and rice & beans. The patties and fried rice are also pretty good. The portion sizes are very generous especially for the price! I always have leftovers for later or the next day which is a bonus. We will continue to support this business.

I’ve been on the hunt for great Oxtails outside of my usual go to. I decided to try Nana’s through door dash. I thought the oxtails were okay, I felt like I got more loose piece of meat in the sauce versus the actual piece of the oxtail. There wasn’t a lot of oxtails for 20.00. The peas and rice also okay. I didn’t realize when I ordered that I didn’t need to order the rice separate so I ordered a side of yellow rice also which was very good, cabbage lacked some seasoning. I’d go back to try something else on the menu but I wouldn’t get the oxtails again. All together with delivery I spent 30.00 for one dinner, for that total cost I was expecting to be blown away that didn’t happen. I forgot to mention I stopped by the actual Nana’s food truck durning the week for the oxtails and found out that they only serve them on the weekends, the staff was very nice and pleasant so much that I tried again a few days later through door dash

I was in town for Mother’s Day and was bout to get on the road. Seen her food truck and stopped. When I tell you my food was soooooo good. That cornbread was so good and sweet. I literally almost told my husband to turn around so I could get some more before we leave. Will definitely recommend and will come eat AGAIN!! She was so sweet and patient. Left a little note on the box. Thank you. ☺️

First time I’ve had Caribbean or soul food in a hole and hot damn. So good!. I will definitely make the trip back up there for that jerk chicken. First time I ever had collard greens and I’m pretty sure it’s my favorite vegetable now LOL.

The food was extremely mediocre, and the service was as well. Five dollar tiny sides. Not worth it. Don’t like the patties at all. I don’t think this is authentic Jamaican food!
