Met a friend there last week, got there early for lunch as it gets crowded. We enjoyed lunch and it became crowded but not full. After we finished eating, the staff started clearing the table RUDELY. Then the older woman that runs the restaurant came by and said, ARE YOU DONE YET? We decided we were not welcome and left. The food and service has always been good and the prices are reasonable but the hospitality is very bad!

Nan Jing’s is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to and I bet you’ll say the same thing when you give it a try! my parents brought me there over 20 years ago and I live here now I don’t know where I would go that could possibly top this wonderful restaurant! The food is amazing and fresh perfectly seasoned and large portions! My husband and I go here almost every Friday for lunch and I also like to do takeout when we don’t feel like cooking! The restaurant is family owned and the staff is just wonderful. They make you feel like family too and make sure you’re happy with your order. I have several favorites. One is shrimp with lobster sauce, cashew chicken, and the lo mein with several different choices of meat or vegetable you can’t go wrong, you can only enjoy and walk out with a smile! check it out for yourself and have some of the best Chinese food available!!

Typical dine in Chinese food. Service was average nothing bad to say but nothing good either. Standard service. Food wasn’t great but I am used to east coast Chinese food. Dishes weren’t the cleanest. Back to the food, something was missing I can’t put my finger on it but the food seemed prepped like it wasn’t freshly cooked. I probably won’t be revisiting.

Tonight we went to, what used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant. I wasn’t very hungry, so I only ordered the egg drop soup. I also ate a little bit of my husband’s food. When we got the check, I thought it was a little high for what we ordered. At this place, you take your check to the cashier. So, I asked the cashier. She said that because I didn’t order a meal, I had to pay for the tea because I drank some out of the teapot!!! It was my husband’s pot of tea and he shared it with me. So, they charged an additional $2.00 on the check. We didn’t even empty the teapot!! That angered me so much, I will never go back there. (It’s like going to a Mexican restaurant and eating the complimentary chips and when you get the bill, they charged you for the chips because 1 person at your table didn’t order a whole meal))
It’s not a big amount, but it wasn’t right. It costs a lot anymore to go out to eat. We don’t need the waitress to add more costs to the bill. Evidently they are watching what their customers eat and drink. It’s kind of creepy to think about them watching you! We have been going there for at least 20 years! I do not understand them. Their customers should be important to them!! If this is how they treat their customers and upcharge without merit, what else are they cutting corners on?? They have lost a 20 year loyal customer!!

I was apprehensive coming to this restaurant after seeing the previous reviews but chose to try it out in my lunch break any way due to it being close to work . I should have listened to the others !!!

If I could go lower I would ! I told the waitress our food was cold and not good she proceeded to argue about how it’s fresh. I showed her how the meat was browning and touched the meat to show that it’s not even loop warm . The waitress then snatched the plate off the table and told me I will have to pay for the ribs no matter what ! She then went yell through the restaurant for the next 5 minutes.

Egg rolls were cold on the inside loop warm on the outside
Crab Puff were the best item on the table
Pot Stickers were the only warm item we received!
Save your money and avoid this place !

Seated right away and water, hot tea also provided shortly after seated. Combination specials on back of menu good deal. For either$11.99 or $12.99 depending on your entree, you get choice of egg drop or won ton soup, fried rice, either 2 fried shrimps or an egg roll , also 3-4 pieces of sweet & sour pork. Egg drop soup was ok, no peas. My egg roll was tiny cute! The beef and broccoli combo $12.99, came with egg roll, was very good. Beef very tender. And the brown sauce flavorful. Served hot! The Almond chicken combo- 11.99 came with fried shrimp(2), was also very good , pretty good my husband said. I sampled a piece, Unfortunately it was all fat, but otherwise very good. Or server brought bill with 2 fortune cookies. One of the cheapest dining out we have experienced.

Took my family there for dinner, the staff was very pushy and rude, as soon as we sat down they were rushing us to order. They weren’t even busy!!! They gave us a dirty spoon…discussing! After replacing the spoon, they just basically dumped the food. We ordered the combo plates and we didn’t even get the soup or anything that comes with it. When we were half way through our dinner they gave us the check and it just felt like they were rushing us out. BTW the food was not all that great. On top of it 2 of us got sick, we barely made it home!

Dirty bathroom. I hate to post these photos because the staff is so nice but dirty restaurant bathrooms are my pet peeve. I often wonder if the bathroom looks that bad, what does the kitchen look like?
