Visited recently as it’s a new Vietnamese restaurant at Buckhurst hill. I had high expectations, especially given the pricing (£19 for a bowl of pho).Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet that price point. The beef in the pho was cut unusually thick and lacked the tenderness I would expect. The soup was clear but not particularly rich or aromatic.
We also tried the pork spring rolls and chicken dish. The spring roll wrapper was slightly hard and the filling quite firm. The chicken tasted somewhat dry, possibly pre-prepared.
When we visited, there were only two tables occupied, yet the waiting time for the food was surprisingly long.That said, the staff were friendly and polite, which we appreciated.
I genuinely hope they refine the cooking and balance it better with the pricing. At the moment, the quality doesn’t quite match the cost.

Lovely food! Generous portions. We had spring rolls, summer rolls, chicken curry and vermicelli bowl. Great value. Definitely worth a visit.

Was keen to try this restaurant. Have been twice, first time when it opened was for a lunchtime bahn mi that I’d been craving and that hit the spot. Second time was for Saturday night dinner with friends. Unfortunately the summer rolls were disappointing & very lemony. The pho & vermicelli dishes were ok, portions were very big.

Food and service was fantastic. Went for my birthday and they went the extra mile to make it special. Pho was on point. Bahn Mi was top notch as well will be going again for sure. Seems expensive at first but portions are sharing sizes. Congratulations on the opening!

Food was delicious! We ordered spring rolls, chicken curry and the noodle soup. The portions are very big and can definitely be shared. The waiters were very friendly and overall we had a great experience. Would definitely recommend.
Only suggestion would be to introduce a kids menu option or more kid friendly dishes.

Very expensive for what you get. Many more local restaurants offer better value for money. My main course was ok but my partner’s was the poorest hot and sour he had tried in quite some time.

Not good, the restaurant said it was open online so I got my newborn baby dressed travelled 40 mins to see it was closed but said it was open online. I am not happy at all and will not be attempting to come again. Next time please make sure your website is correct.

I will support you on your thoughts. They do not even have a website up yet that the review is referring to, so ignore the negative comments everyone. By the way i walked past there yesterday ( Wednesday ) and knocked on the window, the chap said he is hopeing to open Monday ( 2nd February ).
