Large family party staying at rented farmhouse in Wrelton for long weekend. Ordered via Just Eat with delivery service. Slight issue with delivery but at no fault of the restaurants as due to intermittent phone signal the driver and restaurant had tried to call upon arrival to confirn our exact location but call hadn’t come through. Thankfully signal kicked in and driver located us (only delayed things slightly). Food was fantastic, flavourful and everyone was happy with the many selections we had made (there were eight of us, ordering a varied selection of starters, mains and sides) portions are ample and complimentary poppadoms, sauces & pickles welcomed. Will definitely order again on our next visit and most certainly recommend

Had the best Indian meal here that I have ever had. Mellow, tasty, subtle flavours in excellent balance for the palate.The service was excellent, friendly and second to none. The decor was modern, clean and fresh. A lovely evening finished off with a surprise complimentary liqueur. A Pickering gem! Thank you Namaste

we have enjoyed a wonderful meal here very courteous staff, Sal was extremely helpful in advising best vegan choices, checking with the kitchen that the dishes we wanted could be made vegan. the food was delightful, absolutely delicious, and very generous in the portion sizes. we had 1 main course and 4 side dishes between 2 of us, and there was plenty to spare.. throughly recommend

Just really disappointed. The choice for vegetarians was limited to the classic “mixed vegetables”. The sauces were of the most dull, oil based verity, no real flavour/authenticity.
Service was fine but when we noted the disappointing nature of the meal the staff couldn’t have been less interested.

We had a wonderful meal at the Namaste Bengal in Pickering on the 21/09/25. It looked really colourful when it arrived, and didn’t disappoint in taste either. We left completely full and satisfied. The staff were so friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. If we are ever up this way again, we wouldn’t hesitate to pop in for a meal. We can definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone thinking of visiting Pickering. Thanks again N B, Mr & Mrs Stephens

Went last night and had a great meal. Nice interior, lovely fresh food, and good service from the guys there. We’ve been to all of the Indian restaurants in town over the years and the Namaste is by far the best. If you’re coming to Pickering and want a curry go to the Namaste. You know it makes sense.
