We have liked everything we have tried on the menu
Short ribs dish is very good also. And I hear the Pho is good as well. But I’m not a big soup person. Oh yeah, banh mi here is really good. Order a grilled pork to go for later. You won’t be disappointed. You can also add a egg to it also, which I don’t. They’re banh mi game can compete with some of the local bakery’s, no kidding.
I’ve eaten multiple dishes here, but my favorite things are the fish sauce chicken wings (call ahead half an hour in advance to have them ready for when you come in!), Spam & egg banh mi (so perfect, really), spiced roast chicken plate, and of course, their pho. Truly some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in general, and I’ve eaten at many a spot and have had home-cooked meals with Vietnamese friends’ families. The chicken wings, in particular, are probably some of, if not, the best I’ve ever had.
And gosh, do I LOVE playing pool here! To be honest, I don’t even know how much it costs per hour, but it doesn’t even matter because they know me and always give me a free hour. It’s so fun!!! It’s like being at your best friend’s house just passing the evening away, eating delicious food, having a beer or two, and playing your favorite game. And the uncles who work there are so funny, sweet, and cheer you on while you’re playing! Just a fun, familial atmosphere that feels comfortable & cozy. I love coming here and can’t imagine any bad words about this place. Cảm ơn bạn rất nhiều to everyone that works here! Such a special place in Seattle.
This place is the definition of a hole in a wall. It’s comical when you see a picture of the exterior and all the pictures and reviews of their amazing food. You tell yourself you must brave the traffic and try the food here.
Their wings are amazing. Sticky sweetened fish sauce marinate, deep fried to crispy perfection. We tried the regular wings during our first visit, and fish sauce wings won hands down.
I ordered pho the first visit, and found the broth too salty while the meat was nothing special. Hubby ordered the lemongrass chicken, and it was spectacular! He will no longer eat lemongrass chicken anywhere else. In our most recent visit i ordered the grilled pork plate with eggs. That was my favorite by far. Tender meat, flavorful marinate, and the slightly charred caramelization made it a perfect dish.
Staff is very friendly, but sometimes it can be tough to flag them down if you need something.
The pool hall vibe is also kind of fun.
This is a hidden gem. Don’t miss out.
