Great Sushi and cool atmosphere. Went for Happy Hour. $4.00 Sapporo and 1/2 price sushi menu. Our server Josh was great. Quick service and helpful advice. Had the Wasabi Humas appetizer. Very tasty and not hot. Ordered the Crazy Tuna and Boston Roll. Both were excellent. We’re big fans of the local sushi chain in Knoxville. You won’t be disappointed.

Love this place so much! Nama is my favorite sushi bar in Knox! Personally, the downtown location is my favorite for atmosphere, quality, and convience, but when I’m looking to go more causal and not have to have a wait for a table, then I’ll come here!
The sushi is pretty much the same anyway! The service is very friendly and we normally are served very quickly here.
My favorite days are also the half priced nights on Mondays and Thursdays where they have some of their best rolls on sale (crunchy orange and pizza)

Ordered Togo sushi on a Monday and a Thursday, 6 rolls total and all were super good. My favorite by far was the Atlantic – the raw salmon tasting amazing. And the chili sauce that came with it was top notch – I even asked for a side of it when I came back the next time (which the bartender was happy to add). And the portions were large – all my rolls came with at least 8 thick pieces and some came with more.
Definitely packed on the BOGO nights but service was still relatively fast (call ahead) and checkout was easy. Lively atmosphere.

i went there a couple nights ago and my server was Alexis she did great. The food was amazing I got 3 sushi rolls between me and my friend. The service was superb, she was attentive to all of our needs and made sure to make sure me and my friend was okay at all times. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and especially alexis!!!

Have eaten here numerous times. Stopped in at lunch time. Love the lunch menu! You get a roll and it comes with soup and salad. They also have options for the not sushi people! Their sushi is always fresh! If you are in town you must stop by. Watch out for the half off days.

Wow! What can I say, Alex at Nama is top notch!! Nama is my go to for sushi, excellent food. Alex the bartender at Nama, Bearden is the best!! You must try the Pear Lychee Martini! Any drink he makes is superb. He will not disappoint

The pear lychee martini was fantastic! I forgot to photograph the sushi rolls, but my favorite was the mango sake roll. Nama has half price sushi after 4pm Mon/Thurs, so the rolls were about $6-9 each. Nama is very creative with their rolls and pretty generous with the fish. The Bearden site has the best atmosphere of the three Knoxville locations- excellent sushi and excellent service

Namas never disappoints, even for lunch. All staff are quite COVID conscientious and professional, which makes a big difference during these times.
The food is always satisfying and the flavors are so pleasing and groundbreaking with their excellent sauces. Namas is one of my go to places when I require a sushi fix. They never disappoint & I absolutely love that they offer brown rice as an option for their rolls.

Nama’s Bearden location has been my top choice of the Nama sushi restaurants (and honestly any sushi restaurant) in the Knoxville area. After a disappointing visit, Nama management reached out to apologize and offer to make things right, which I appreciate. How mistakes are handled is the key factor — mistakes are bound to happen. I’m happy to be updating this review to reflect a much more positive experience from Nama Bearden after being asked a chance to make things right. As we have come to expect from this location, the food was delicious and server was friendly and attentive. Thank you for a great visit.

Told hostess I had a doordash order and she told me it was not quite ready yet. After standing for 15 minutes I asked her if she can check on it and she got irritated and then came back and told me it’s not quite ready yet again instead of getting me an estimate. They literally just expect delivery drivers to stand at their store for dozens of minutes unpaid.
