I’m a real lover of Thai food and Nam Thai was a visit that I very much enjoyed. The platter I love because its a great opportunity to try different starters. I love the fresh salad and the prawn toast was lovely and thick. The mains ordered were nice too. Left feeling full and satisfied. I also enjoyed the music played because it was contemporary. The service was quite slow, I went up to get the bill and more sauce but maybe it was due to it being a Sunday. It is not the tip Thai place I’ve tried but it was good food and I’d eat there again

the service was absolutely immaculate — attentive, friendly, and incredibly quick. our food arrived almost immediately and was steaming hot and clearly freshly made. the drinks were perfectly refreshing and paired so well with the meal. the soup had a flawless balance of flavours, rich without being overpowering. the sides were just as impressive, especially the pork skewers, which were juicy, tender, and genuinely delicious. overall, an outstanding thai dining experience that i’d happily return to.

Good quality set lunch but the Gaeng Paenang was soupy and more like a curry but tasted fine, but not what was expected and as experience in Thailand and other restaurants in London.

Gaeng Panang (or Phanaeng) is a popular, rich, and creamy type of Thai red curry known for its thick sauce, nutty flavor, and mild spiciness. Unlike other soupy Thai curries, Panang is characterized by a “kluk klik” consistency—just enough sauce to coat the meat.

After coming back from a trip in Thailand this was the perfect place to keep my good mood! The grilled pork, the Tom yum soup and the panang curry were amazing, then my friend with a small stomach couldn’t finish her pad Thai with prawns so I had to throw that down with a cold Chang and it was just amazing too!

I am unsure if the restaurant has changed the chef, but the food was much worse than the last time we were here.
Drunken noodles lacked sauce and flavour. Tom Yum was overpowered with fish sauce, and it seems they don’t have the difference between shrimp and chicken one flavour-wise. (Just the shrimp and the chicken added )
All the fried stuff we ordered was okay.

Also, it was a weird, not pleasant smell in the back room.

The Service was good as usual. I might pop in a couple of months and change my mind and the rate.

I ordered Thai red curry and fried pho. Both taste good and authentic. The curry does not come with rice, so u hv to order a bowl of rice tgt with it. The rice is well steamed, hot and soft. Love it.
The curry portion is huge, it’s enough for 2 person. So next time I’ll order 2 bowls of rice and a curry. In that case I can order some pre meal snack instead 🙂
Love it!

Pad thai was fairly good. We tried green curry which was also pretty good. Papaya salad was ok too. It’s good value for the meal.

This review is purely based on our takeaway experience. Ordering online and collection with a 20% discount, there is an option for Deliveroo to deliver if required. Cash or contactless methods of payment accepted.

There is a contrast of ok, acceptable and poor with relation to the dishes we ordered. The coconut and sticky rice were good! Pad Thai Noodles with prawns were good although the £9.95 seemed exuberant. The prawn toast was small, fairly hard and quite oily. Crispy soft-shell crab starter was quite lacklustre. Chilli squid was lovely, tempura prawns were good, stir fried prawn with oyster sauce also good.

The service staff were very polite and even included a free bag of spicy prawn crackers.

Slightly disappointed overall.

The portion sizes of the meals are not very large, and the prices are relatively high. The taste is average, but the greetings from each server are very good.
