Texan here who has been to 45 of the Texas Monthly Top 50……(mostly on the company dime)….So, I like really good BBQ. And NakedQ BBQ IS really good BBQ. Very good.
Brisket would play with the Top 50 in Texas no problem. Kudos to them. I had the chicken and it was very good but I think I should have had the pulled pork. Next time.
Beans had plenty of extra flavorings added………EXCELLENT. Slaw was tangy, spicy, crunchy just like slaw should be. It will be on the pulled pork when I visit next. #NoMayo!
Met the owner, she is a wonderful lady. Gave me a sample of the turkey and that was solid too.
This place is a winner. Enjoyed it very much and will be back.

I don’t know why this place isn’t known by everybody that loves bbq- it’s amazing, and the people inside are incredible. Prices are perfect, especially when compared to other local prices! I will be back again. And again. And probably again. I heard from 2 people to make the stop and finally did- seems this place has impressed a lot of my close friends! I’m so glad I took their recommendation.

We have no idea how this place is not the best known BBQ in AZ! Absolutely delicious! Took a chance on door dash with zero regrets. You have to try it! Perfectly smoked flavor in every bite. Extra juicy meat. Delicious Mac and cheese! 10/10 recommend! BEST BBQ IN AZ!! The spicy BBQ sauce is a must!

AMAZING bbq Highly recommend. All the meats were delicious. The sides were equally EXCELLENT- corn bread, slaw, mac n cheese, beans, potato salad. (Honestly, the best potato salad I’ve ever had at any BBQ place). My only critiques is that the bottom bun of my brisket sandwich was a little tough. Aside from that the service was super fast and friendly. Everything was reasonably priced. FYI, there is only one restroom and one trash receptacle.

This was a good hidden gem!! I got the brisket sandwich and my husband got the 2 meat play with pulled pork and ribs. The brisket was really salty so I ate the pulled pork instead and that was so good! The ribs were also VERY delicious. To our surprise the potato salad was one of our favorite things! The Mac and cheese was pretty runny but not bad. Overall I would go back again!

My family owns a bbq catering business in NAZ. We built our own large mobile smokers from scratch harvest our own wood and have recipes handed down from ranch hands and old cooks. Every now and then I like to try out other BBQ places. This one was not bad. Not great. Meats could use some smoke. I didnt really detect any. Brisket was alright maybe cooked a little long. Pulled pork was average. Sauces were ok. Usually I lean to spicy. The sauces seemed a little syrupy. The beans I had to add Q sauce to not a ton of flavor. The slaw was nothing to write home about. u
Ultimately not bad. But not great. Only two slices of brisket, a portion of pulled pork beans and slaw and a drink and tip for $22 I mean… not terrible. Staff were friendly.

I’ve stopped here for takeout several times because the brisket is awesome. Today I also got the Ribs and never had better. Delicious!

I stopped in on a whim, and what a treat! I have spent years trying out brisket all over the country and NakedQ BBQ has some of the best brisket I have ever had. The brisket was perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, moist but not greasy, and just the right amount of tender . The Hotlinks were excellent, and they had real slaw! I will definitely be back.

Awful experience! First, we brought our dog, so we planned on sitting outside. They only have one table outside. We sat there and awaited them to open at 11 a.m. which they promptly did. However, the female employee came outside and informed me that my dog would have to remain outside. Well, duh! So, okay, moved on…. husband ordered our food. When I got my pulled pork it was cold. I mean like they just pulled it out of the fridge, put it in the microwave for about 2 seconds and served it. ICE COLD! The potato salad had absolutely no flavor at all. They might as well have served me a cardboard box. The portions of meat are rather small compared to other BBQ joints I have been to. When we were leaving the same female came outside to inform me that I could not smoke within 20 feet of the bldg. I was gathering my bag and dog. I had not lit a cigarette. I informed her that I was leaving now. (By the way she was keeping tabs on me, one would think she would already know this…) I, also, thanked her for the cold food and that it was absolutely terrible. She stated “I am glad you enjoyed it”. Huh? What? So, that explains why the food is cold…. lol. Never ever ever ever will return to this place!
