Old fashion small town bar and grill Atmosphere. Stopped by for a weekday lunch with our son and his wife. I had the Range Street Burger with tots. (Pecan wood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, onion tanglers, and herbed horseradish sauce.) I enjoyed the whole plate. Generous amount of tots. Burger tasted great – all toppings are in great proportion – none overpowered the others (which is easy to do with horseradish). I would be amiss to give a shout out to our server (Sonja K., according to our receipt.) She was simply delightful. Interactive and polite – without going over the top. She was an absolute ambassador for Nkato. I’d come back again just to say hello to her again!
Other selections from the table included two Cowboy Burgers and a Habanero Honey and Gorgonzola burger.
Everyone went home satisfied, and with leftovers!

I went here with my brother and mother a few months back.
Overall it was decent food, but nothing that stood out. If you’re just looking for some decent bar food then this place is fine.
Our waitress was nice and fun. She did mess up our order, but I just swapped meals with my mom because that was the wrong plate… she had ordered a California Burger but a BBQ bacon with onion rings burger (I think it’s usually called a cowboy burger or something like that) arrived instead.
I ordered the shrimp basket so that’s the meal we swapped.
The cheese curds were pretty good, and if I go back I’d get that as an appetizer again… and I always dip my cheese curds in ketchup so any other dipping sauce I will try, but nothing tastes as great as ketchup and cheese curds.
Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was fine.
Overall, I would try it again, and I think it’s worth trying if you haven’t been…
We don’t drink alcohol, and admittedly bar food is often catered for people drinking. So, if you’re not drinking beers or cocktails my experience (across the board) has been that bar food is kinda mediocre.

We really love going to hometown small bars and we thought Nakato was awesome! We had the cheese curds with spicy raspberry. I had a pastrami on a pretzel bun. Their coleslaw was great! Both the bartender and server were friendly and our food came out fast.

Nakato, Nakato… been a long time.
I think I would like to start with what drew me in the handful of times.
I never quite caught her name, but I remember the way she would always be so warm toward me, tell me of the deals going on, and invite me to sit wherever I was comfortable. There’s something about kindness that draws me in. I believe she was the lead server..
Anyway, I suppose you’re waiting on why I rated it 5 -as if kindness wasn’t enough-✨
1. Customer service (seems a bit lost these days, but not at Nakato)
2. No rush, just being. (Like eat but don’t feel rushed, enjoy your time and just )
3. Bomb food (see photos)
4. The drinks… variety. Also, they (idk if still a thing there) have like half off of bottle wine days – which the old me was totally stoked for !! *drink responsibly and get home safe please*
5. Food is brought out in timely manner.
6. Phone Pay- like you forgot your wallet? But did you forget your phone?
7. Oooo OUTSIDE SEATING, totally forgot that one, but honestly, go inside, meet the workers… they’re so kind.

Great food. Breakfast and lunch and dinner. The specials are always a great choice, bloody Mary’s are also great we like to come here any time of the day as the food never disappoints, and the workers here are great

The food is okay but service is always an issue. We were there for lunch and I know the waitress was the only person serving everyone there but it took forever for her to come to our table. I had to go to the bar to get my water refilled multiple times. The waitress would just be sitting at the bar on her phone. I would be more understanding if she was busy with the other tables but she wasn’t. It’s not the first time this had happened either.
