Used to love getting hibachi from Mishima Express across from the mall in the old Pizza Hut Building and haven’t found any other places like it yet but this was great service as I placed a to go order over the phone before going into Best Buy that day. I am probably one of the most pickey eaters on the Earth at this point at least I don’t deny that I guess but I ordered steak and shrimp hibachi with plain rice no vegetables at all and an extra order of steak. Now they were on point with the no vegetables part which somehow is always the problem when I order from other places like this so that made me extremely happy they got everything about my order correct no one likes having to try to get back home after a 15-20 minute trip from Anderson to have to pick out the tiny vegetables that are usually in the rice like that so definitely 5 stars for getting what I wanted correct and it’s so dang hard for some restaurants to get that part right even after explaining that you don’t want any vegetables on your plate or touching the food you ordered so was extremely happy to find out that they had gotten that part correct once I had gotten back to good ole Williamston and I do understand not many people actually order anything like this so I do realize that I am kind of special when it comes to getting stuff like this and was waiting for a mess up of some sort over this and seeing as the last time I had gotten hibachi my dad was still alive in the Anderson hospital and passed away a couple of weeks later from pancratic cancer and I had went into the Mishima Express location before they just apparently closed down with no sort of notice to any of the customers that they did have coming into the restaurant or ordering pickup it just said online on the Google listing they were temporarily closed but seems to be a more permanent situation instead of temporary. But the shrimp was awesome the steak wasn’t exactly how I would have expected it but I think that has to do with how Mishima Express cooked their food. So I won’t say that it’s this restaurants fault it was definitely edible and the portions of the steak and shrimp were plenty I don’t think I would have actually needed the extra order of the hibachi steak but definitely ate it on the way home from picking it up from the restaurant as it was actually placed in a side dish that was separate from the rice and the shrimp and the Steak being all mixed together. Which I guess if I thought about how I would have wanted that steak that was also perfect since they don’t know if you have a 4 year old that is hungry and only thing they will eat is the extra order of steak so I did enjoy being able to pop the side order of steak open on my ride back to the house and not have to have a whole container of rice shrimp and steak semi opened and eating some of the steak from the whole plate and have to worry about not slinging that whole thing of food somewhere in the car you don’t wish for it to end up at. So I was thankful I didn’t have to worry about spilling the rice and other meats all over the place and try to eat some of the food while doing it. But the lady she seemed to either be in maybe high school or maybe college and working in the evenings after classes but she was very kind and even got me the soda In the smaller bottle that I had not known about ordering till I saw them at the store. I hate having to stop by a gas station for a drink unless I just have to. I try to put in as much gas as possible in the few stops I do have to make in between the usual gas stops and hate having to get out and in the traffic of stopping at the gas station and just needing to get a drink. But this was my first time coming into this restaurant and as soon as I came in the door when was already on her feet doing something else probably getting food ready or something for other customers when they came to get their orders but she immediately greeted me and seemed to be genuine with it not like someone faking greetings like I have gotten at a few places before but she had the same tone the whole time.

We come here regularly and enjoy the steak hibachi plate and fast wait times for food. This place is understated and easy to ignore because of the location and signage. It’s a particularly great lunch spot because the food comes out fast.

I’ve ordered from Nagoya on DoorDash twice and both times i got exactly what i ordered, and the food was cooked perfectly. It can be hard ordering DoorDash to get everything correct but they do perfect!

I eat multiple times a month. Excellent staff never had a problem with food always done when I get there. Truly a pleasure once a week to visit. Never have I been rude to or had any issues whatsoever. Food is great. You get exactly what you pay for not expecting five star food for $11. Even so, it’s just what I wanted

The restaurant was filthy from the front door to the floors. All tables were dirty. A woman dropped a whole tray of food on the floor next to us and it sat there the whole time we were eating. Hazard for sure. Won’t be back. I prefer a clean restaurant.
