I’ve been coming here for years and the chef has never one disappointed. He pours true creativity into his food and it’s amazingly delicious.
I can’t say enough nice things about this restaurant. Short of going to Manhattan or Japan you’d be hard pressed to find another sushi restaurant as good.

Quiet, clean, and great service. The price is a little bit high but the quality of the food is well worth it. Great for a date night, or just bringing your family for great Japanese cuisine.

Average Japanese restaurant. Sushi rolls were nothing to rave about. Fish quality was average. Staff was friendly but could be slightly more attentive about refilling water. Could use bigger selection. There were a lot of daily specials on the wall but very far and small font to read from table. They should provide on menu for more convenience. 3/5 stars.

This is by far one of the best Japanese restaurants i have been to. The food is always amazing (and I eat there often) also the Owner, Sushi Chef and Waiter are always friendly, welcoming and and more than accommodating. And OMG! Their ginger dressing on the salads are to die for!!! I would highly recommend a visit.

I gave it 2 stars because the price is quite affordable for the size of their second portion. I got to say that it’s quality is so much lower than what I expected. I read about this restaurant from the recommendation of Newsday, and they gave it a fairly good review. However, it’s just not what I got. I have eaten from many sushi restaurants, some in New York, and some in Japan and Taiwan. And this is just way below standard. The fishes easily fallen off from the rices and the fishes, while fresh, weren’t very high quality. For example, the tuna was so plain in taste and hardly any fat.

There is no better place for sushi on the island imo. I treated myself to a birthday dinner. Soup, salad, 3 rolls of sushi special, sapporo beer and dessert.
Always fresh, excellent service, amazing staff. I will eat at other places if it’s a must but there is only one place that I would choose 100% of the time: Nagashima.

This cozy restaurant has great ambience and wonderful food. Tasty and inexpensive lunch specials can be phoned in and carried out conveniently. The dining experience is a pleasure from the charming host to the amiable sushi chef, who with a gentle nudge will tell you a fishing story. Check their website for discount coupon and specials.

Worst quality of food. Fish was so old that it got dried and smelled unfresh. The owner said “mistakes happen.” i wonder if the sushi-man even has his license. Price is ridiculously high. I would not eat their food evn if it is free. Do not go to this restaurant if you enjoy the good quality sushi
