Service was pretty slow, especially initially. Took a while for our waitress to come to our table to get drink orders. Noticed the table next to us sat for a while too before they ordered drinks. Watermelon margarita was pretty bad, would not recommend. Husband had the mango margarita, was better but still not great. Tasted artificial. Chips, Salsa, and queso were good and really all that we enjoyed. We shared quesadillas and they were so incredibly greasy. It was a large order which was good because we were only able to enjoy two of the quesadillas. The other two were soggy and greasy. Really hate soggy tortillas. Wouldn’t return here next trip, there has to be better Mexican food and better service in Wimberley.

The food was good and our server, Miles, was very nice. The guac was especially good and at a good price. The tacos, quesadillas and enchiladas were all good. The inside atmosphere is a little rough with multiple tables right outside the open kitchen where the servers, all young kids, hang out.

Great experience! Food was great their Queso is fantastic! The mango margarita was also yummy. We were able to find a quiet little corner and enjoy our meal in relative peace. Nice variety menu for everyone to enjoy. Close to all the shopping and popular places in downtown wimberley. I would definitely go back and eat here when in town. I highly recommend!

We arrived before 6 on a Saturday. The inside was crowded but the outside had many open tables. We sat outside because we did not want to wait for a table. By the time we left, the outside was completely full. I am unsure if reservations are possible so I suggest going early or plan to enjoy a drink while you wait for a table. All staff were very friendly. Our table ordered the combination fajitas for two. The corn tortillas seemed freshly made, the meat was perfectly grilled, and the servings were generous. Highly recommend.

Wonderful open air inside and patio seating. Simple menu with great classic tex-mex options. The chips and salsa were great. We got a frozen margarita with strawberry swirl and it was spectacular. We also ordered birria tacos and the beef burrito. Very good on both accounts. Little pricey but not outrageous.

Great food. Excellent drinks! Highly recommend the cucumber margarita. It was amazing. Wait staff was a bit slow but our group didn’t mind. They were also packed, so gotta give a little grace. We had a couple margaritas and chatted while we waited. Wonderful atmosphere. Recommend eating outside if you want a quieter meal. But only if it’s not raining or cold. We will definitely be back!

Had dinner here a couple days ago. Great drinks, the mango margarita is delicious! Chips and salsa and queso were good! Chairs not very comfy, just normal metal fold out chairs for the outdoor seating. Server was great about checking in and getting water refills. Gives outdoor vibes, the indoor seating still felt outside which is a cool vibe. Food was great, the shrimp quesadilla was so good, and also had the enchiladas which were tasty! Overall great place to eat!

Have been hyped up about this spot since I heard about it. Wimberly is low on Tex-Mex options so this was over due. I met my group in the back patio area which is basically a dirt floor like a baseball diamond. Very Marfa-esque. Folding chairs and tables give it a backyard reception vibe.
First thing I noticed about the menu is it doesn’t offer quesadillas so that was disappointing. Sure it could be arranged however. Queso is white and creamy and pretty good. Chips here are also good quality and texture and crunch.
House Margaritas have an overpowering floral taste that made my mouth pucker. Not the refreshing lime taste you’d hope for. I ordered the CA Burrito without black beans and it was a tad dry but the meat inside was tender and well flavored. The meat didn’t resemble carne asada as the menu indicated. It just tasted like fajitas that were diced up. Diced a bit too small I may add and not nearly enough meat to burrito size ratio for the price of $20. There had to be maybe 4oz of beef sadly. Overall I don’t recommend the CA Burrito as it does no justice to the real McCoy. More of a bogus knock off.
The street corn was phenomenal and the best I’ve had anywhere. I would return for the corn alone and start with that.
