We actually found this place on Google and presently surprised.
Went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t really busy at all. Though will say it was a very relaxing feeling to the place. The waitress was very pleasant and very helpful and polite. Just felt POLISH! Food was good and satisfying.
We order my wife and I the Polish Plater and was enjoyable and enough. Also had the apple pie for dessert and that was good. Plus the waitress gave us a shot to try of their Limoncello to try.
We weren’t rushed like in some places. Made you feel relaxed and to enjoy the ambiance of this Polish restaurant.

Waiter was borderline rude. Extremely smug and not personable at all. Food was fairly good. However, my wife’s order was not right. Ordered half cheese and half meat pierogi. They brought half cheese and the other potato. The waiter was so inattentive that it wasn’t worth waiting to send them back and get the right ones.
When my beer was empty, he did not even ask if I’d like another, just walked up to the table, grabbed my empty glass and walked away. I had to wait for him to come by and then ask again for another.
We ordered desert that he forgot after bringing the check…like we were being rushed.
I’m done….won’t be back! Rude service and just ok food. Disappointed based on the other reviews. Maybe it’s a polish thing? Different nationality not welcome? I don’t know? But, Goi did not feel we were well received. The older mostly bald polish man was pretty ignorant and seemed pissed off.
Your mileage may vary….but, I won’t ever be back. Disappointed because my mother in law is polish and this was her 82nd birthday dinner. She wanted polish food. We tried it…..never again.
Highlander house in Palos was much better.

This was a GEM to find! I searched the area for something unique and the reviews led me to Nad Tatrami. It’s an adorable little place in the middle of a small town with nothing really around it. The food is delicious and the service was great. I had a drive ahead of me so didn’t try any Polish alcohol but would in the future. The water had lemon and cucumber and maybe mint in it. So refreshing. I don’t know what was served on the little plate – bread and pickles and something in a jar that was very yummy. I wanted to try a little of everything so had the Polish Plate – sausage and kraut and stuffed cabbage and a potato pancake and pierogi. Highly recommend!

Very authentic and beautifully decorated Polish restaurant!! The service is a 10! The food is delicious! We have visited several times and each time we have had a great experience! Nad Tatrami is a gem in the south suburbs of Chicago and is worth the trip!!

Karol was amazing! Even tho Jimmy caused a bunch of problems, he provided excellent service and was so much fun! We love coming here for the food, which is delicious. But Karol definitely made it a great time! Highly recommend Nad Tatrami!

There was only one waitress while we were there and she was incredible! She served the whole dining room without missing anything! The pierogies are obviously freshly made! The cheese are a personal favorite but I enjoyed all of them! I cannot say enough good things about the dessert blintzes! I would go there just for those!
