Cool nostagic drive in. Chuckwagon burger was amazing. Onion rings were good. But the sundaes were huge. When I saw $1.85 I thought of a tiny one scoop sundae…these were much bigger than that! Super friendly and the wait time was good. Add the beautiful view, and it is so worth the stop!

Nice retro restaurant. Food was fresh & cheap. It took a bit of time to get service, send me there was only 1 server. Dining in isn’t possible right now because of covid & the restrooms are only for employees. The restaurant is next to the river so there’s a view while you eat.

First things first, this place is CASH ONLY! No debit or credit cards of any kind. I did see an ATM inside but not sure if it works ♂️, fortunately I do still carry cash. This place is very nostalgic and rustic, unfortunately it’s not because they were going for the look. It’s because it’s never been renovated . However the kitchen is clean, the food preparers wear gloves, and are very friendly. It’s a classic “hole in the wall restaurant “ a diamond in the rough if you will. The prices are good and the food is even better! You can eat inside or at the drive in stations. The view of the river is very nice. All in all I would definitely recommend this place, however the issues that prevented it from receiving a 5 star status was the cash only requirement and the fact that it does appear a bit run down. Eye appeal is buy appeal, not sure why some people don’t get that. But I would definitely return, the food was tasty. And it had a nice atmosphere.

Worth going out of your way to eat here. BBQ and hamburgers are tough to choose between. Everything is cooked to order , so fries are really hot.

Cheeseburger all the way, fries had a nice flavor for a “faster food” joint. Slaw was fresh. Overall, a good first experience…and we didn’t have to wrestle the kids in and out of a restaurant 🙂 Now just add a drive-in movie Naber!
