restaurant impressed me from the moment I walked in. The food tastes authentic, the seasoning is perfect, and every dish comes out hot and fresh. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the whole place feels comfortable and clean. Easily one of the best halal meals I’ve had in a long time.

I’ve always loved this store and usually have great experiences here. The woman who wears hijab is always kind and welcoming, and her young son who works here is also very polite. That’s why today’s experience was especially disappointing.

I called ahead and ordered bolani and three lamb shanks with qabuli polo about 30 minutes in advance. When I arrived, I explained that we had driven back over two hours and I had a meeting, and I politely asked if I could get one white rice and two qabuli polo even if they weren’t fully ready. I waited near the kitchen, and the cook told me “ok, ok” and made it seem like the food was being prepared for me.

After another 20 minutes of shopping with no pre planned, and waiting, I watched someone walk in from outside and receive the bolani I had ordered. Then the cashier told me, “Oh sorry, we still need to cook your bolani,” meaning my order had never been started.

At that point, after waiting a long time and being told conflicting information, I felt misled and left the items I had picked up on the counter and left the store.

I later returned to apologize to the young man and asked him to please tell his mother (who is always wonderful) that I was sorry, but I still feel it’s important to share this experience. I usually avoid leaving bad reviews and truly want to support small businesses, but honesty and communication matter. I hope this helps improve the service in the future.

This place has so many different types of bread. And all the different spices. I came in looking for Himalayan salt. Oh by the way did I mention they also have a small eatery inside? They sell hot food. But I was able to look at the menu. I was in there for about 10 minutes. I wanted to stay and shop some more but I had another place to go to. So I will definitely come back. The older lady that’s at the cash register is very sweet.

Naan and Kabob Bazaar is one of the best spots in Antioch! The food is incredibly flavorful and always fresh. Their naan is soft and perfectly baked, and the kabobs are seasoned beautifully. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the portions are generous. This has become one of my go-to places whenever I’m craving great Afghan food. Highly recommend!

My favorite items here are the long Naans and Bolani Kachaloo (sometimes kachaloo and gandana mix).

The quality of their food is excellent, and their customer service is outstanding. I recall a time when I accidentally overpaid, and just a few minutes later, the lady at the counter noticed and called me back. She informed me of the mistake and returned the extra money. Their honesty left a lasting impression, and I always enjoy going there—the food is consistently delicious.

Food flavor is good, meat is quite dry, but very small portion for $20.

Well I’ve been going to naan and kabob for 4 years now. This is the only time I’ve had a bad experience today my mom sent me to get some red meat a cows neck. First my Farsi is not really good but I got the meat I never ever went meat shopping so no I don’t know what good or bad meat looks like, I brought it home lol my dad and my mom got really mad at me one because they gave me bad meat my mom said it looked like it was from weeks ago and not today I also did call them before I went and asked if they brought fresh meat id say just don’t get red meat from them if you don’t know what bad and red meat looks like lol they’ll make you buy something bad instead of good. also bad meat has dried up blood now I have learned.

I have been craving kabobs for some time. Got my fix today! The food was delicious. The atmosphere was so so. I mean, what can you really expect from a restaurant inside a grocery store.
