First time trying NYPD, had a Grubhub coupon. Had heard good reviews so wanted to try it. The spaghetti with red sauce and chicken arrived steaming hot and was a good-sized portion. Very delicious. The night sticks with pizza sauce is basically like pizza and was very tasty. I wish I could have gotten pepperoni on it. The brownie was pretty good too. Only negatives were the garlic bread was a little dried out, the pizza sauce was cold, and some of the side items, like banana peppers, should be free like other pizza places. All in all I was impressed and will return.

You know, I stuck with you all even after noticing the quality slip. It was still decent food for a decent price. I’d order delivery frequently. However, you’ve recently gone up in price, which still, I found reasonable on some items. However to make your calzone literally almost DOUBLE the price with less quality than it used to be? Are you insane? It’s not even a large calzone like other places and now cost more than those lol. You’re just taking every reason to shop with you away

After 30 years of being a customer at NYPD tonight is the last night. Last week got placed an order that included cheese fries and when I got home, the fries were scrimp. This evening, I decided to give NYPD another chance. When I placed my order, I told the manager that the last time my fries were scarce. I asked him if I needed a place two orders if I did not want to see the bottom of my box and he looked at me clueless. Once my food was done, I checked my cheese fries, and once again they were scarce. The cheese was not melted as it should be, and I asked the place in additional order. When I received the second order none of the cheese was melted. The manager told me that the heat from the fries melts the cheese, which made no sense because the first order had melted cheese in spots and the second order had none melted. I asked for a refund which I received and took that money to another business. The fries I received at the different business were cheaper and better quality.

I hate to do this but the disrespect really got to me. There used to be a different gentleman putting this in my PD Pizza his name was michael. He is incredible he is an awesome human being. I can sit and tell you stories and it I’ll be great some other fellow has taken over some dude with lighter hair and it is changed the mood in the atmosphere and everything. I’ve always been a in every week customer sometimes multiple days depending on my kids or friends visiting. The food is amazing. But the atmosphere and the mood has changed since Michael left. Rather than who took his place. There’s a different fellow a younger guy with lighter hair and ever since then I always would always answer me like he was hustling me I would ask what are your specials what is on sale and he would always ask me what are you looking for would never tell me what was on sale it always ask me what I was wanting I would always bothering me I have a allergic reaction to to the tomato base anywhere and I always have and since I went there I would have it changed out I would never get tomato sauce it would be minus that and I would get a different sauce like alfredo or an equivalent they would never charge me for that except for when he was working he always made sure it was at least two extra dollars sometimes I felt like I was being overcharged I’ve been there a lot so I know what a pizza would cost no one there would ever charge me for that except for him he’s there tonight and the guy in front said no I won’t charge you for it he couldn’t get it to go through he’s knew he tried to take off the extra two or $2.50 for taking sauce off my pizza and having something I’m not allergic to on it and he came in whispered to the other guy under his breath and left quickly left the room and a cashier the newer fellow said I’m sorry it’ll be $22 and change I was like huh? For a large pizza? It’s always like a hustling game whenever he’s involved it’s always maximum price paying for paper plates napkins and pepper packets that they used to always give me especially when my kids would be there so I experienced the off-putting feeling tonight I just said never mind I changed my mind and had to turn around and leave if this was the crew before he took over it would be five stars across the board but he makes that difference from five stars to one. The piece is good but it’s not $23 good for a large or picking up under your own walking power. I hate to do this but I tried tonight and usually when I see him in there I just keep going but I don’t need pizza it’s a good time to change bad habits

This pizza used to be good, but the quality has definitely gone downhill. It doesn’t even taste the same anymore and they prepared it very sloppily. Then, when you call to complain, they offer a $4 credit. Yeah, actually never again. We’re good on the school cafeteria pizza.

had take out and delivery from here before, the pizza is always great. the meatballs are really good compared to most places. they give you a garlic sauce cup, like that big chain, so that is neat. everything has been on time and fresh. i recommend the traditional crust. pricing is fair too.

Used to order from here every week practically, but in the last 6 months or so there has been changes to the pizza, dough is cheaper, thinner, and kind of undercooked generally. Their old dough was a bit doughy but I liked it, was always cooked thoroughly but chewy which I enjoyed, and the thin crust was thinner but still robust enough to support extra sauce or cheese and some toppings. But these days the regular crust is kind of thin, yet more undercooked than the original thicker crust used to be (I recommend getting it well done if you do order from here) and when I get my original order it crumples and collapses under the weight of the toppings, very sad. The food isn’t terrible, but I generally don’t order from here anymore given the changes to the pizza.

I’m not sure if it’s a busy night or a one off but I’ve never been disappointed in NYPD and tonight a frozen pizza would have tasted better. I live less than a mile away and ordered delivery and the pizza was room temperature when it got to me, but the worst part is – it was soggy from the steam. I assume it came out hot (at some point) and they closed the lid too fast keeping all the heat in because it was so hot it altered the plastic lid in the box plus the box was sagging from the moisture. Then I assume it was sitting for at least 30 minutes before it was taken to deliver so it could reach the room temperature pizza that I was handed. I hope it’s just a bad night, but I’ll for sure think twice before I order again.
