I’ve been going here since the 80s when many appetizers were under a dollar. Amazing flavor, extremely friendly staff and you absolutely cannot beat the decor. Choose the one on the left! (A huge perennial East Village debate)

What an incredible lunch special feast. 6 courses, $12 after tip and tax. Superb service. Atmosphere can’t be beat. I ate wholesome and nourishing food. Not greasy or overly salty. A rare delight for a restaurant with these prices.

This is the restaurant located on the left side top floor of the building. Closed due to COVID and now re opened by the owners of the neighboring top right restaurant Panna II. The place is tightly organized and the decorations really put you in the mood for a little culinary trip to India. Service is good and friendly. The indian food is great. Bring your own alcoholic drinks. At this time cash ONLY. You might notice some competition from the two other establishments at the lower level, I didn’t try them out yet.

It’s three south Asian food places together in one building. The other side was full of people so we went into Milon. It’s a nice place with all Christmas lights set up inside for the whole year. It took time to get the food but good food.

My brother recommended this place to us on our long lay over in the area. The place is very tiny and it was packet and many people were still waiting outside for their turn. The decorations is what makes the place very unique. With lots of colorful lights, flowers and world flags. Inside the place is very small and very loud. They don’t serve alcohol, but they allow ppl to bring their own drinks, so you will see ppl standing their with their beer packs and wine bottles. The service is fast and the food is very delicious. If your in New York, you have to make a quick stop at this place. Reservation ahead of time is needed.

Not for the claustrophobic. Milon must have the highest occupancy per square foot in the city (the county?). Further, there’s a general grubby feel to the place. On the plus side, the food is actually pretty good and a real value. While not for everyone, the gaudy display of hundreds (thousands?) of multi-colored lights is a sight to behold.

Take a seat a and let me tell you the tale of Milon. Lights flashing, music blaring, dudes competing for your business outside, it’s truly a delight for the senses. The food here is the bomb dot com and the only place in NYC where you can eat a 4 course meal for 2 for under 40 bucks. The chicken tandoori meal had me in the spirit realm as my taste buds were assaulted from all directions by spices and juice. Lemme tell you something folks, this is a must for your weekend trip and one for the memory books.

This was a very odd experience. Actually wanted to go to the famous panna II garden but when you approach the facility 3 men start yelling at you to go to their restaurants (as we later found out, there are 4 rest in almost the same space). Food was less than average. Experience was pretty cool so would only recommend it for that. It’s a cash only spot

I found this place on Pinterest, and is quite of a experience since we stepped out side. There’s 3 restaurants, and they all try to make you come in, they know each other. The place is a little small but comfortable and the servers are very friendly and helpful with the menu, we got a special for 2 and we got appetizer, soup entre, bread and dessert, all for a very reasonable price. The food is very good, and the lights makes the place looks fun. Is CASH ONLY.
