It was a perfect time for soup and I wanted beef bone soup (Galbitang), sister was craving pork neck bone (Gamjatang) while my son decided on the Tukbaegi bulgogi. The beef was tender, it was not quite fall off the bone, maybe another 30 minutes. The broth was good. My sister and son enjoyed their soup. Each came with white rice in a metal bowl and we shared banchans (side dishes) of kimchi, kkakdugi (spicy pickled diced radish), and Odeng (fish cakes). It was a casual dining experience with efficient service. Metal chopsticks and spoons are kept in a covered wooden box on each table. Parking was hard to find.

Great Korean restaurant that serves authentic food. The bossam are their specialty and they also have lots of different soups. The side dishes are kimchi, radish, and fishcake. They could be benefit with more staff since there was just one lady running around helping everyone so it took a while to put in our order, but the food was great.

As a Korean, this is by far my favorite restaurant in the area. It’s such authentic Korean soup, the flavors are rich and texture silky, plus unlimited side refills. My boyfriend and I come here at least once a month, and we look forward to it for days before we do. I almost always get the seonji haejangguk (blood) and he always gets the soondae haejangguk (blood sausage), we’ve also tried the kongguksu, pollock haejangguk, gamjatang, etc., they are all bangers!!! So good. Also the wait staff have always been so kind!

My sibling and I got yukgaejang and sullangtang. I was not expecting the portion size for the yukgaejang to be so big, so I ended up taking leftovers home.
My sibling said that the sullangtang didn’t taste like much, but it was probably because we didn’t put enough salt in it (our server told us to put some in). We didn’t know how much salt to put in, but it was an experience!

The prices on the menu side here is not accurate. Almost everything is about $16+

Side dishes were kimchi, fish tofu, and radish kimchi. There were signs around the area saying that the kimchi and one other side dish cannot be taken to go.

They do have restrooms on site with a code to enter, which is convenient and clean.

First visit today. First review: 5 of had lunch after church today. My friend picked this place and I was eager to try.

PORK CUTLET. One of the best pork cutlets I’ve ever had! The pork cutlet was flakey and crispy on the outside, yet juicy and tasty on the insides. Tender, not tough. It’s definitely one the 3 top dishes to order. So many different sauces. One of my favs.

The most popular was the JOKBAL: Pork feet and hock slices. It’s a large dish. Very unique. Must try with a large group (4 to 6 people.)

And lastly 2 different soups. Galbitang: Beef short rib soup with glass noodles. The noodles were nice snd chewy. And the other one was the milky one. Also good on a cold day.

The service staff spoke fluent Chinese and English. Interesting that I didnt hear any Korean spoken. Im sure the staff are multilingual at this Korean restaurant. Good service.

First time here at this soupy Korean joint. The first thing I immediately noticed was how attentive the waitress was. She was a lean Korea lady with a boisterous laughter. She made sure that we had our refill of our kimchi all the time and came around every now and showed us how to expertly dive into the food without making a mess. At the end of the night, I dropped a couple of coins and she actually bent down to pick them up. Talk about stellar service! She had me at hello.

The food was above average. The kimchi was fresh and supple. The sauces were great. Not sure about the plastic box rice but maybe it’s just a phase. The soups were all good, especially #10 which I had not had in any other Korean soup restaurant. The selection is small with a lot of options crossed out, probably because of the pandemic, so I didn’t mind that at all. It’s been a while since the service of a staff at the restaurant made me want to write a review. I had actually imagined, during the meal, of returning again.

Decided to give this spot a try since I’ve been craving Korean food! It’s a small shop and you can park in the “back”. It’s a parking lot and I do believe it is also their front door. They have 2 doors. Either one works so you won’t have to walk all the way around!

When you sit down, they’ll give you a menu and then you order. After ordering, you get 2 side dishes. Both are delish and can get more if you ask. Sadly we couldn’t bring any home.

#13- very sweet! Lots of meat! Not enough noodles in my opinion. But I did like the sweet broth. Comes with rice!

Delicious and authentic tasting Sullungtang and Galbitang!! Their garlic kimchi was so addicting too!

Parking is plenty, I appreciate how clean the tables and restaurant is inside, and the employees were nice.

The prices are a little high but lots of places are right now with inflation unfortunately.

Love the soup. Came out nice and hot. Meat is tender and this is one of the best Kimchi I have had in a while. The only complain is they close very early. Come early!

Clean place and simple decorations. The place specializes in soup based dishes. The bossam dish we had was very good and big portion. The kimchi dishes were good as well.
