This restaurant spot finally turned around. It went through God knows how many ownership changes but now whoever is running Mythri’s is doing a good job. The best part of this place is the street food corner run by Darshan. He is undoubtedly the best street food, especially the Pani-Poori guy in DFW. He used to be inside the restaurant next to Hareli on Main and Teel for many years. Definitely try Mythri’s out. They bragged about their Biryani today but I haven’t tried it out yet. Strong advice to the landlords – Keep the place nice and clean; and take care of your employees. You already have good food. You will do great.

Chat thali and unlimited PaniPoori are really good. They customize according to our spice levels. This chat thali is around $15 with items that can be costed more when we order them individually.

Food was great. Goat biryani was my fav. Lady at the counter was very polite but definitely a little quiet. Just a couple small issues for your typical American though, No Ice for drinks and unclear what entrees come with rice or naan. Should be listed on the menu

This place recently opened in Frisco. I went here as the name precedes with the reputation from the Irving location. The process was not set yet as the staff were struggling and the take out food was okay but nothing spectacular. A week later I went in to get an evening snack, onion pakoda and Mirchi bajji, the latter was the best Mirchi I had in a decade, it was that good. I took two more orders for the family.
For Diwali the manager/owner Subba shared about the package combos and I placed an order for Package 2. The place was super busy when I went to pick up. Though me and others had to wait due to the festive rush, Subba’s service and approach to customers didn’t make my wait bothering. The food was a traditional spread (Poornalu, Garelu, Pulihora, Chakkarapongal, Sambar rice, Bhindi fry, Methi chaman, rotipachadi, mango dal, chapatis, and curd rice), the food was amazing and truly got the festive fervor to the day. It was so good that it felt like everything was made in home and not a commercial restaurant. Every dish was flawless. At Mythri’s the team is passionate about food and serving their customers with a great culinary experience (a rarity in many establishments). Thanks to Subba and his team for bringing the passion to serve good food. I sincerely wish the consistency, quality and service will continue.
