Had this place recommended to us by a friend and what a wonderful experience it was. My wife had the salmon and she loved it. I had the prime rib and it was fantastic!! All of our sides were equally as good and the salad was terrific as well. My daughter got the Alfredo pasta and she eat every bite so it must have been good as well. Wasn’t crowed at all and the prices were very reasonable. The wait staff was nothing short of excellent. Very highly recommended!!

A charming restaurant with loads of local history. The bread sticks were tasty, with an unexpected kingship to unsweetened donuts. The starter salad was smothered in a sweet dressing, and I was pleasantly surprised dinner came with apple cobbler. Hard to beat a 3-course meal for $14.
Looking at the interior design and all the framed items hanging on the walls, you can tell this place is much loved.

This place is always an experience. Although it has a limited menu, the food is always good and the service is great. Staff is friendly and courteous. Prices are good for the food you have on the plate. My favorite part – the breadsticks and the salad dressing…. I could make a meal on those! If you’re looking for a great family place, this is it!

We have been 3 times in last several months. First 2 times food was excellent. This past Saturday evening I was very disappointed. The salad dressing was one of my favorite things but this time it wasn’t very good. It was too sweet. My lasagna looked like scrapings from what was leftover in the pan.
My husband got elbow macaroni for fettuccine.
Understand it’s under new management. Change things back to the way they where.

Service was slow. Only received half a salad, it was good, but not a whole bowl. The waitress forgot our drinks, so nothing to drink while eating our half bowls of salad. Then we get drinks, but sweet tea instead of the unsweet ordered. Finally get our meal of spaghetti, but it was really sweet. We mentioned it to server and then to the cashier. We also heard other tables saying the same thing. We got apologies, but a bit knocked of the bill would have helped the night not be a bad memory. Unfortunately that did not happen, we left after paying a $35 dollar bill (for 2) and hungry.

Nice inside. Had to wait on host to seat me so he could finish a personal conversation and the restaurant was not busy. Waitress was exceptionally nice. Food was great, but a little pricey. I had no meat and my plate was $13.99. However, the salad was with fresh greens and was delicious.

First time going here after living in Valdese for over 3 yrs. The food was fabulous! And not ridiculously priced. $21.95 for prime rib and sides and bread! Decent in my opinion. And the hostess and our server Mason were TOP NOTCH! You do get this kinda of service nowadays. The prime Rib was cooked perfectly and just so tender. And big as my head!! lol I WILL be coming back and as a small business owner, I will be recommending you! Thanks for a great night.

I have only eaten here once. I had spaghetti with meat sauce and it was really good. The bread sticks were fresh and hot. They were the best bread sticks I have ever had!!! If I had known they were that good I wouldn’t have ordered anything else. You get plenty to eat here also. I will be back!
