I love this place. Perfect neighborhood spot along the Old Dominion Drive corridor for N Arlington and McLean. Vibes are top tier. Food is really excellent, especially like the gyro and onion rings. Lots of great specials. Service very friendly and good. There’s a reason it’s been it business so long, and it’s the quality.

I’ve been thinking about our experience there and I have to say, the place has a lot of history and character but it needs to improve the food. We followed some of the reviews and were very excited to visit. Lots of families and locals, which made us happy. However, when it came to the food, it was unfortunately disappointing. We love Greek food and I guess have been fortunate to experience some delicious places over time that we think this one didn’t meet our expectations. The gyros were ok and the pastitsio were very underwhelming. The gyros even came out just warm. We saw on the wall this place is beloved by the community but we also need to push them to always improve. Hope this post can contribute to that and we get to go back and experience it later.
