Love everything about this place. Been going since they first opened and it’s amazing to see how they’ve grown. Obsessed with: My sisters iced coffee, Sister’s Cubano, Pionono empanada, Criollo, and of course, Mami’s hot vinegar on almost everything. The GF SF donuts are always delish and so is the cheesecake! My kids love the Nutella sandwich and always beg me to go. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to go near Milford!

I absolutely loved this bakery and restaurant! The food was so delicious that I didn’t even have time to take pictures—I devoured it too quickly! The beans brought back fond memories of my family’s cooking, and I was genuinely amazed by the authentic flavors here in Delaware. Plus, the bread reminded me of the sweeter, San Juan-style bread, which was a delightful touch. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Authentic puertorrican food, the pernil and arroz con gandules were deliciously cooked to perfection. Their menu is diverse and suit to any palate. They carry pan sobao (sweet bread) and a variety of pastries, quesitos pastelillos de guayaba, and other deserts I almost tried them all but left some for our next visit. Highly recommend.
It has a lot of traffic but the wait iwas not too long, I might try ordering online next time. Parking may be tricky if there are events in the area but likely you will find a spot to park. The service was outstanding, friendly, the atmosphere was familiar, clean and cozy, there are tables and chairs, luckily we were able to eat at the location. Highly recommend. The Historic Town it is located invites for a walk after a nice meal.

I drove a little over an hour to have lunch here, and it was absolutely worth it! The portions were huge, and everything I tried was delicious. The pork shoulder was incredibly tender and flavorful—one of the best I’ve ever had. I also had the sweet plantain and steak rice, which was amazing. I’ve had their garlic rice before, but this combination is so much better; the garlic rice is good, but a bit more plain in comparison.

The sweet plantains were to die for—I wish I’d gotten a second helping! I’ll probably skip the salad next time, as it was just shredded lettuce and a tomato and didn’t add much. That said, this place is such a hidden gem, and it’s really hard to find food like this in the area. I highly recommend going and trying it for yourself.

If I weren’t gluten-free, I would’ve loved to try the empanadas. All in all—amazing and so worth the drive!

The love in the food is fantastic. The atmosphere is neighborly, inviting, and quaint. The staff are friendly, efficient, and polite. We had empanadas, kids’ meal with pork, rice, and empanadas, chalupa, Ben and Jen, tiramisu, and guava puff pastry. Everything was delicious, and we make a point of eating here monthly. Enjoy their community involvement and love for their local community, and that they celebrate other businesses.

This was our first visit. We had to see what the hype was all about after searching high and low for authentic Puerto Rican food in Delaware and many people highly recommend this spot.We arrived from Dover. Once we arrived we found plenty of parking directly across the street and it’s free. The place wasn’t too packed but had consistent traffic inside! It’s small and doesn’t have a whole lot room to eat, maybe like 3 tables that can sit 2-5 people at each table. They have a few kiosk where you can place your order. We waited for about 15-18 mins for our food. Here’s what we had:

Wings with garlic white rice (my hubby said the wings were absolutely delicious!)

Beef/chicken empanadas (delicious)

Veggie/cheese empanadas (pretty good)

Beans (amazing!)

Garlic white rice (pretty tasty)

Cheesy bread (it was good, nothing too special)

Pernil/pork (hubby said it was ok, not his fave)

Nutella empanadas (yummy)

SF GF Cannoli dessert (didnt like the taste)
SF GF strawberry pretzeless dessert (OMG so delicious I wanted to buy 5 of these but they ran out!!!)

They didn’t have any arroz y gandules which made me sad. Most of the food we tried that day was absolutely delicious. We got so full! The had many other menu options and desserts! We will definitely be back again and felt it was worth the drive! My hubby wished they made pork chops too. lol These pictures are of our food before we devoured it! Cute little whole in the wall bakery with flavorful food and the place is clean inside!

Cute atmosphere. Family friendly as well.
Let’s get straight to the food. It was definitely made with love. Authentic and fresh Latin food. Wasn’t sure if it was Dominican or PR. I tasted empanadas from different Spanish countries and theirs was amazing. Burst of flavors in your mouth. You’re missing out if you haven’t been here yet. The price is incredible.

We were on the way home from OBX and stopped here for brunch. The cute town of Milford is only 5 min from 113, and well worth the stop. My sisters fault definitely lives up to the reviews. My family loved everything we got and we were thrilled to support local. We still have cheesecake and the pan sabao to eat 🙂

Here’s what we had – so delicious! Can’t wait to return and try more.

1)Beef empanadas – packed with flavor and filling.
2) Nutella empanadas – delicious
3) jammin bacon burrito – very filling and great portion. Delicious – my husband loved it
4) veggie burrito – fantastic flavor
5) vegetarian eggs and rice platter w plantains and avocado – delicious!

Portions were huge, and we have leftovers to enjoy. It’s worth the stop!
