On my mission to try every food truck in Jacksonville, I stumbled upon this little smokhouse that is serving up BIG flavor! I bought a whole chicken, collard greens (only on Saturday), and macaroni and cheese. Now you know you can’t trust everyone’s mac and cheese but you can trust theirs! It was cheesy and seasoned, I was so happy when I saw pepper in it. The collard greens were seasoned and cooked well, there was still a little bite to them. 1 don’t like mushy greens. The chicken was juicy and had a light smoky flavor that my pallet really enjoyed. Their mild and hot bba sauce was good. I also have to point out the customer service, the owner and the young lady who took my order were very polite. The wait time to get my order was longer than anticipated but it was worth the wait.

I hate giving bad reviews to businesses that try… “BUT” selling microwaved BBQ is not it!!.. what’s the point of BBQ’n it if your going make it soft and lose the crispy texture!!.. started off great but this isn’t BBQ!… priced way to high for this!!

Best GRILLED wings in Jacksonville. In fact …. they are the only place to get real grilled chicken wings. I go here because everyone else fry their wings. The secret sauce is sweet and smokey. If you are watching your diet and don’t want the fried stuff, it is worth the drive to Lem Turner and Dunn. Had wings for a party and everyone loved them. Grilled wings can be heated up with no problems..Fried wings got to be eating fresh out of the frying pan.

I had already eaten the one bone you see there, but, essentially what you see is considered half a slab and cost $16. Normally a half slab is 6-7 whole ribs, but apparently not here. Don’t get me wrong, the ribs and sauces are delicious, but the portion on the half slab and the rude older lady (always on her phone) at the window leave a lot to be desired. This was my go-to for buying full slabs, but after this day ordering half a slab while out and about, I don’t think I can support them anymore.

I was very disappointed in the rib dinner because the gigantic ribs were undercooked, full of fat, and lacked a complete bone. The potato salad was warm and the greens overly cooked. Also there was very little sauce on the meat. So I had one decent rib. The rest will be thrown in the trash. This purchase was on 06/14/25 ticket #9.Times are too hard to get nothing for your money! Very disgusted!
