“My Roti Place & My Dosa Place”, located at Davis Dr. & Leslie, Newmarket (Ontario), are a wonderful example of this spirit.
The restaurant is owned by Mr. Akshaibhai, a genuinely nice, kind, and helping person. He believes in serving not just good food, but also respect, cooperation, and care for every customer. The food quality, service, and overall experience truly reflect his values.
Recently, we celebrated Agastya’s birthday on Feb.7 th 2026. at his restaurant, and it was a memorable experience for all of us. The arrangements were smooth, the food was delicious, and the hospitality was excellent. Enough spaces! Everyone enjoyed the celebration, and the place felt warm and welcoming.
Businesses like My Roti Place and My Dosa Place inspire others in the community to start, grow, and succeed with dedication and good service.

I found the staff were not welcoming, I was also very surprised that this cost 18$ for less than an ounce of chicken, sauce, and bread. There were also 2 pieces of chicken that were grisly so I couldn’t eat it. Not very impressed sadly.

I ordered garlic naan which were frozen and too hard to bite and also the chicken tikka masla was very spicy even i told them to make it mild. I have to dump whole food in garbage. Such a bad experience, never gonna order again.

Decided to try after initially going out for Jamaican Roti, the spot was closed. We ended up at My Roti Place and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I ordered the Homestyle Chicken Roti with Roti on the side and it was AMAZING. Portions were large good value for money! My grandpa got the butter chicken and rice and he LOVED it! The mango cheesecake was light and okay. Pn top of the wonderful food, the service was friendly and prompt, which can be hard to find anywhere. Will definitely be back soon! ❤️

Okay, so I recently went to this dosa place that was seriously amazing! The dosas were perfectly crispy, not too thick, and the fillings were super flavorful. I tried the classic masala dosa, and the potatoes were spiced just right. Plus, the chutneys and sambar on the side were fresh and delicious. The place was clean, and the staff was really friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d totally recommend it if you’re craving some authentic South Indian flavors!

We got the chance to eat at my roti place. The food quality is good. They have a huge variety of dosa.
The food was clearly fresh, and the portions were great. We also ordered Boneless chicken Biryani, came with complimentary raita, salan(peanut gravy), fryums and Gulab Jamun on the side – great little additions to the meal.
The restaurant was clean and spacious given its size, and the staff were lovely.

I ordered Mysore masala dosa. It didn’t disappoint me except the tomato chutney. It tasted odd.. I didn’t have energy to question them because they had some issue with another customer in terms of quality of food. The way they conceive the reviews felt like mocking their customers and didn’t bother to listen to the customers. One of the employees were not hygenic he was Chewing pan and he couldn’t even talk to customers ( I think). Very bad experience. I also attached the photo of the food that customer carried all the way to them to explain but they didn’t even bother to look at them.
