I’m afraid I can’t really recommend this place. Their rice and beans taste good, and their avocado was actually excellent, but the price is too high. While the avocado was great, the serving size was too small for the price.
Their think “steak” was mostly tasteless and not worth finishing.
There was only one waiter when I was there, and she was not particularly attentive.
My only positives for this place are that it’s very clean, and their tap water is free and without any weird aftertastes.

Great food. Amazing taste and portions are terrific. I had the chicken chimichanga. I’ve never had authentic Mexican food but I really hope this is what it tastes like as it was superb. Everything is fresh. Complimentary chips and salsa were great as well. Price is way better than expected.

They have excellent salsa- I ate the whole bowl myself. The tortilla chips were a little thick but still good. The service was good and I ate a delicious beef, jalapeno& avocado burrito. It was enough for two meals, I am glad I found this gem!

I enjoyed every bite. The experience felt like I was home. Very flavorful and delicious. Will come back. I recommend la sopa de res and the bistec ranchero. Get the tamarindo drink. Really good.

Delicious food, friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Gabriela, the owner of the restaurant is so nice and kind the you can feel like you are home. The tortillas are homemade and that makes everything perfect. Great coffee too.

Great food, good price, portions are very large. Ordered breaded chicken cutlet with rice and beans. The beans and rice were flavorful. The chicken cutlet was cooked nicely the breading was crispy and well seasoned. The chicken was moist and well cooked. Overall a positive experience.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Suffern. The food is absolutely wonderful, and reasonably priced. It might take a little while to be served, especially if you have a large group, but it’s well worth any wait you might have. Everything I have tried is fantastic, but the groups I go with tend to recommend the chimichangas. Go now!
