Deborah and I hadn’t eaten here for four years. They are only open for lunch. Debbie’s chicken fried steak was tender enough to cut with her fork. I had baked chicken and excellent green beans. The desserts were outstanding!

Well, the food was wonderful! However, it seemed as though only one waitress was doing most of the work to keep customers happy. She was stretching herself to cater to everyone’s needs and keep them happy. To all the other employees not politely and simply saying “excuse me” to walk through the line of customers, shame on you. It’s not a food quality problem it’s a service problem. To the public eye, it seems only one person is keeping the people happy. Mrs. Sullivan, you’re doing a wonderful job.

Seriously good food. Great service. Cafeteria style. I had meatloaf, country fried steak with gravy, greens, and hot water cornbread. I’d order it all over again. Can’t wait to come back.

A really good place to eat southern home cooked soul food. But too bad it’s open just for lunch. From the food to the service. It’s on my top 5 best places to eat at list. When im in town. And one of the best places in magnolia to eat at.

Homecooked food was served cafeteria style in a casual diner style restaurant. It was fresh, tasty, filling and affordable. The ladies working there were friendly. Southern hot water cornbread was a surprising treat to go with the pinto beans. There was a chicken casserole they call Ritz cracker casserole, mashed potatoes, fried steak, beef tips, rice, yellow squash, and several salads and desserts to choose from. Don’t know that I’ll ever be in Magnolia, AR again but if I am, I will definitely stop.

Great food! Would rather not see the dirty dishes sitting on the table next to where I’m standing in line to get our food. If they had a better setup and the girl busing tables wasn’t as loud it would be a five star rating. Hope they fix these things before we come back.

When you travel a lot, the hardest thing to do is to find decent food, one that somewhat replaces a home cook meal. This place does exactly that and then some. Food is better than at home, and for a very reasonable price. Food is fresh, and tasty. Most importantly the place feels like going back in time when business owners cared more for the quality of food it provided to its costumers above all versus maximizing profitability.

Staff is always attentive and extremely friendly, food is amazing, hardly any wait time to be served. One of the few places I can go and eat at every day if given the option. If you don’t eat there at least once your making a mistake.

Great food, great people and service. Did you like Grandma’s home made dinners? Unless she was a terrible cook, this will take you back to her table. Everything was fresh and delicious.
