The waiter mentioned the specials of the day, and we ordered the Crab Egg Benedict as well as Mangu! Both plates were absolutely delicious. My grandmother’s kitchen is cute and cozy. And the food, natural juice drinks, and coffee are great!

So happy to have found this wonderful spot! Went for a Saturday brunch to celebrate my sister’s birthday and we were so impressed all around. They were able to seat our table of 6 right away and the bright, homey space and live guitarist made for an amazing atmosphere. The juices are amazing and SO fresh (we loved the mango & avocado flavors) and everyone’s food was delicious. The pistachio pancakes on special were a stand out and should be moved to the main menu! Most impressive was the spectacular service. Everyone was so friendly and our wonderful server kept us laughing and smiling the entire meal and provided the greatest rendition of “Happy Birthday” that I’ve heard in a restaurant! 10/10

Delicious! We were visiting from Texas and our hotel recommended My Grandmother’s kitchen. We had lemon poppyseed pancakes, eggs Benedict, mochachina, strawberry milkshake, rice pudding and red velvet flan. Everything tasted amazing. The food is made from scratch and is very fresh. The service and attention was among the best that I’ve experience. Definitely recommend!

Went here with my wife for a late breakfast and the food and service was excellent. Everything we ordered was delicious and on point with the presentation. The waitress was awesome and so nice. The desserts were also delicious. I will definitely go back again and would recommend this place to all my family and friends.

Not their fault at all that a train cruises by occasionally (it’s right next to the tracks), but the food and hospitality MORE than make up for it.

AMAZING brunch restaurant in a simple, quaint, no-frills dining space right in the heart of Farmingdale. The entire establishment was created to pay homage to the owner’s late grandma, a little El Salvadoran woman who passed down all her original homemade recipes to her grandson, Jorge. Today, Jorge is the chef at the restaurant he owns, and he prepares every dish in remembrance and celebration of the authentic cooking his grandmother taught him since childhood. Delicious, fresh cooking with quality ingredients, artfully prepared and presented, down to the last detail. Friendly service, too — the Dominican gentleman who waited on us was fantastic and very welcoming. Menu is quite broad with something for everyone. Definitely recommend this place and will return again.

Enjoyed breakfast here with the family. The food was good. The corned beef hash was excellent. They chopped up actual corned beef and did not just use some canned meat. The home fries were delicious, seasoned and cooked perfectly. My wife had eggs Benedict which was also cooked perfectly and tasted great. The kids enjoyed their extra fluffy pancakes with some scrambled eggs and cheese. The Service was excellent.
