Suggestions: can’t charge over $5 for an empty croissant , I’m sorry.. That’s just too much. If filled , maybe, but for empty?
Especially that prices weren’t visible , so customer gets the shock at the cashier .
Especially if it’s not warm and fresh in the morning. That’s basically the most important expectation from a bakery.
Was disappointed since otherwise it’s a great place .
Perfect place for a friend & family hangout or just to chill by the end of the day! Kudos to Jean Pierre for such a great experience! He is the best employee of My French Cafe!
We also got the apple Danish to-go and enjoyed that at home for a snack later on. I was surprised to find that the Danish was almost a bit bland. I could really only taste the “bread” and some sugar, but the apple itself was very muted. And I expected maybe cinnamon, too. But, nope. The next time I visit, I’ll probably try something else — tart, tiramisu, etc. I’m not a fan of super sugary desserts or snacks, so I’m glad it wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet, but to me and my average tongue, it was just a bit tasteless.
There were a handful of tables (seating size 2-4ppl) inside and outside.
This morning’s breakfast at My French Café was a completely unexpected delight—and honestly, that made it even better. We actually ended up here by accident. Our original breakfast spot nearby was closed for renovations, so we decided to explore the area and stumbled upon this cozy little café. From the outside, it didn’t scream “top breakfast spot,” but we figured… why not give it a try?
We stepped in and asked if they serve breakfast. The cashier smiled and confidently said, “We are the best in breakfast.” That answer alone convinced us to stay—and wow, they weren’t wrong!
We ordered:
Croissant Benedict Florentine – Two perfectly poached eggs on a buttery croissant, with fresh spinach and rich hollandaise sauce, served with golden breakfast potatoes.
Cheese Omelette – Simple, fluffy, and full of flavor.
Grilled Cheese Sandwiches – Crispy, cheesy, and surprisingly satisfying.
Nutella French Toast – This one was the kids’ favorite. Soft, sweet, and indulgent without being overwhelming.
Every dish was served hot, plated with care, and bursting with flavor. We honestly weren’t expecting such generous portions or such high quality for a casual café—but this place completely impressed us.
The café has a charming, relaxed atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It felt like a little neighborhood secret that locals know and love—and now we do too.
So glad our original plan didn’t work out, because My French Café totally saved the morning and made it even better than we imagined. Sometimes the best meals are the ones you don’t plan—this was definitely one of those.
