They warned me that the ahi tuna sandwich would be “a little pink” inside, but jeez! This was probably the first sandwich that I simply couldn’t finish. I can do sushi, and the quality of the meat was good, but I couldn’t finish it. Just chewing, but couldn’t swallow.
I really regret not just getting a regular hamburger here, because the one I had here on a previous visit was really good.
If you are brave or foolish enough to get the $14 fish sandwich, ask them to plz cook it longer.
Fries were decent and they are generous with sauce varieties as well.
Had to give the rest of the sandwich to my cat and dog, which they loved!

This place is busy and for good reason!
Im not a big fan beef burger but they have plenty of other options to choose from available.
Ordered the 1/3 lb elk burger and 1/4 lb shroom burger with a shared large fry. The burger alone was plenty, fries were crispy. Everything was delicious and a fair price.
*Id recommend getting there early. Took our burgers to go (worth the wait) but took about 20/30 minutes.

This place took me back in time! I loved the old school vibe inside and the food was amazing. It tasted like home cooking. The sweet potato fries tasted so fresh and crispy. The perfect sweet potato fry in my opinion! I got the junior cheeseburger and added bacon. The bacon was so good and not too crispy like a lot of burger joints. I loved the sauce on the burger as well as the bun. It lived up to the hype.

I had the elk burger; it was not my favorite. The burger was wet from all the lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. The acai bowl was good, and the prices are pretty fair for the area and quality.

The meals were delicious and well prepared. The chicken was marinated and cooked. The place was clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly, approachable, respectful and knowledgeable.
The lavatory was clean. The place is located off the Main Street and closes at 4 PM after lunch.
Parking is completely free on the street. It is recommended to take a green flag outside the restaurant and wave it when crossing the street due to how busy the town of McCall becomes in the summertime.
Again, great experience at this quaint location.

When first introduced to my father’s place, I asked who’s your fathers? Where’s his place? Well, it turns out, regardless of whose father this place belongs to, they knew what they were doing.
We were visiting McCall for the weekend for the first time, and this place had long lines. There was smoke billowing out of their exhaust, signifying that great burger were made here.
The next day, we were the first in line. Needless to say, we were not disappointed.
I had the chicken sandwich. It was nice. Juicy. Simple and tasty. With a nice round fluffy bun. And my husband had the burger. Also simple and tasty.
The tater tots had a nice classic crunch to it, and the sweet potato fries were generous in size and perfectly seasoned.
However, we discovered the only downfall of this place is we wouldn’t recommend one to eat it before heading back to Boise. The food is so good it can quickly put you in a food coma and could endanger you and others while on the road.

We keep coming back over and over again. There is something unique and special about dining here so we always bring new family and friends to experience the fun. Good tasty American food, nice tap selections, wonderful friendly servers. Highly recommended!

Terrific choice when we were passing through. Saw the reviews and wanted to take a break from our drive and gave this a chance. A local helped us decide what to order and we even had a huckleberry shake that wasn’t listed on the menu. My burger was good but the chili was a little bit of a miss. We got a bowl, am sure it would be delicious for fries but wasn’t great as a side.
Overall, still a great local spot and would stop again. Outdoor seating was perfect for the summer weather and great atmosphere.

When we arrived at this destination we could smell the delicious burgers!! The shakes were amazing and the burgers even better! When we sat down our food came very quickly but noticed that our onion rings were burnt. But immediately we got new ones and they were very very good. I highly recommend this location because of how great the food and the how fast the service was. Our meal for 4 people totalled out to be $83 for 4 big boys but that is with a 15% tip. I hope this review helps any family’s in need Thanks for the great service!
