I am truly tired of the slow service in the evenings. We got there at 5:50 on Monday and finally walked out 10 minutes later because the bartender never even came over to take our order. She only seemed to care about her regulars at the bar.

I absolutely love this bar until the new bartender Heather started bartending here she’s very rude and wouldn’t serve people because she felt they weren’t capable of ordering drinks. If people haven’t even drank how can you judge if they are capable of ordering? I’ve seen several bad interactions with her and customers I’m just not impressed.

People shouldn’t go to bars to have to deal with negative unprofessional attitudes for drinks with friends. The other local bars in the area have way better service and hospitality. Oh well if you’re from anywhere in southern Colorado there’s a good chance you know about my brothers place. This is not just any hole in the wall bar it’s not just a dive bar at all the hippies go to in the river rats it’s not just a bar. To many of us this is not just a bar this is a local family where it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been gone the doors are always open this is a bar that anybody can walk in to sit down and grab a beer look around and feel welcome. From the dollar bills on the ceiling that represent good Times, bad Times, or loved ones that might not no longer be with us. From the antiques that hang out up in the rafter and look down on us like guardians of the past and present. The owner Has kept this place just the same as we all remembered it the first time we walked in. This is not just a bar this is a family. so if you looking for a cold beer a game of pool some good music or just a stiff drink to wash down a bad day or a hard week stop in to my brothers place Where the beer is always cold and the door is always open
