Stopped by My Amigos on Grants Ferry Rd for a casual lunch and had a good experience overall. We ordered Chicken, Cheese and Rice, a quesadilla appetizer, and a small cheese dip. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the portions were solid for sharing.

The Chicken, Cheese and Rice was flavorful and satisfying, and the quesadilla appetizer was a hit—plenty of cheese and cooked well. The cheese dip was simple and comforting, exactly what you expect with chips.

Our server, Gabby, was friendly and attentive, which always makes a difference. Service was smooth and we didn’t feel rushed.

Prices were reasonable, with our total coming out to around $31 before tip. Overall, it’s a solid spot for Mexican food in Flowood when you want something familiar, filling, and laid-back. We’d definitely come back.

Can’t ask for better service. I came alone during a busy Friday night. Packed house so I decided to sit at the bar. Multiple employees checked on me. Took my order quickly, food was out fast…was hot and good. I’m from baton rouge and was chasing my favorite quesa birria. This one didn’t quite match up but it was pretty good and I was so glad they had it on the menu because I haven’t been able to find it. The prices are more than fair. Big portions. Will be back.

I give this restaurant all stars . I only visited twice and I must each time I visited the food was great. Everyone has their own opinion on food quality but this restaurant deserved every star they received. The 10in quesadilla paradise was perfect. When I saw the ingredients that came on it I was a little cautious about ordering it but I will give anything a try. At first I was thinking the vegetables were going to be crunchy. They were actually steamed or grilled which was PERFECTO The molcajete , the sampler and the lemon pepper wings was all great seriously. I have to talk about the wings. The lemon pepper wings were different something I never had before. It wasn’t just lemon pepper seasoning that was on it , it had this special sauce that was added into it. I ordered the wings for my baby girl and she’s a hard eater. Hard to find anything she likes at times. She basically loved the wings flavor. I suggest ppl should try them. Last but not least the margarita are GREAT!! One thing I left off were the servers. Each and every last one was polite. There were this one server he was a young kid and I must say the guy was putting so much into what he does I was amazed. He was actually on a track and field serving . I loved every minute of it. He had a smile on his face the whole time. When I say taking pride in your work, he’s a prime example. Even the other servers who weren’t serving us made sure everything was okay. It’s like they didn’t want to see us without. So thanks.

The food is geat (Faitas, Questa Birria). Ordered three meals and got this ridiculously small amount if chips. Called and asked why. Was told only one small bag…..no matter how large the order is. Not the norm for all other resturants.

Had a great experience at My Amigos! I ordered the chicken fajitas, and they were delicious—served hot and packed with flavor. The portions were generous, and everything was fresh. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food in the area, I highly recommend stopping by!

Salsa and the happy plate are the best in the metro area. The service is excellent too. Very fair portions, we always bring home leftovers. The shrimp delight and happy plate are still delicious as leftovers, even two days later!
